Minnastronomer (Minnesota Astronomer) is an amateur astronomer from Minnesota.

I work mostly in astronomy. I have also become more active in recent weeks editing Minnesota related articles, specifically related to Minnesotan history. In the past couple weeks, due to current events, I've also been dealing with much more recent events in Minnesota's history.

Biography

I was born at a very young age on the 27th of November, 2005, in Mayo Clinic. I lived in Rochester, Minnesota until 2012. I then live in Hillsboro, North Dakota until 2015. Since 2015, I have lived in Bloomington, Minnesota.

By this point I was no longer the youngest person ever. Since then, I have learned many things, such as what a bungalo is, which I learned in sixth grade when we had a bungalo-related assignment in class, which the class felt was unfair because it required us to know what a bungalo was. I am no longer in sixth or seventh grade. I went to high school after that.

Astronomy and start on Wikipedia

I began astronomy in February of 2023. I had a an assignment for my photography class in which I intended to photograph the Orion nebula for. I was unsuccessful but continued to work on astronomy since then. In July of 2025, I was working on my own astronomy site when I found out some objects I had imaged did not have wikipedia articles, or had obvious missing information. It took be a bit to get a handle on things, but I've since gone on to be a prolific editor for the topic of astronomy. I've since branched out to do far more than just that.

I am presently focusing on Minnesotan history, specifically with governors and gubernatorial elections, which have seemingly been a bit neglected, research-wise.
