I joined Wikipedia in February of 2004 to create a repository of information on the French WW2 Air Force. My second Wikipedian career started at the end of 2018 when I fell into working on spaceflight articles, particularly satellites of the 50s and 60s. As these missions often had a military component, I straddle both the Spaceflight and Military History projects.

In the real world, I am a professional space historian and science fiction author.
