I have a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) and am currently working for the Montana State University Archives and Special Collections (ASC). Editing and encouraging staff and student employees of the ASC to edit Wikipedia and sister projects is a part of my job. I also lead the team that plans the annual Wikipedia edit-a-thon for the MSU Library.

I have previous experience as a Commercial Driver operating motor coaches, transit busses, and vans. I have also worked as a dispatcher and as a driver and guide in the Arizona, Montana, and Wyoming, including Grand Canyon National Park and Yellowstone National Park.

I currently live in Montana, and have lived in Ohio, Wyoming, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. I have an undergraduate degree in English and a minor in History.

As the event organizer for the MSU edit-a-thon, I (with the aid of other wikimedians) have built a useful template for an event page: User:Pomemel/MSU Edit-a-thon Template. This page is specifically designed for MSU events (colors and links).
