I take the guideline WP:BEBOLD very (perhaps too) seriously! That doesn't mean not asking for help if I really need it — I don't usually think I need help, but when I do, I find the appropriate talk page, guideline or essay to inform me or seek a second opinion if needed. If I see a change that needs to be made, I just go ahead and do that; little improvements help the encyclopaedia for everyone! Sometimes a reader will want a very niche article when we would have otherwise overlooked that if we didn't have the advice to be bold! Little fixes that I have noticed a lot of articles are in need of is adding WikiProject attributions to talk pages, changing hyphens to en or em dashes, adding or changing short descriptions to not be so long.

An activity I am currently doing on Wikipedia a lot is using templates to welcome new (temporary account) users via the Twinkle extension. Twinkle is not necessary to do this, but makes the work so much easier!

I find short descriptions to be one of the greatest features of Wikipedia articles because they give you a summary of what topic the article is about at a quick glance, whereas that's not available in other mediums.

I think of myself as quite experienced but I think there will usually be more that I can learn from there guidelines and by learning from other editors.

I also think WP:SYNTH is an extremely important guiding principle in telling us not to make conclusions that don't exist from certain sources. Initially, it was a bit difficult for me to understand but I think I can acknowledge it better now.

Articles I have created

I like creating new articles but there is too much to do on Wikipedia that takes my attention away from creating or editing articles. I used to not create articles so much and I could have been content with that but there was quite a bit of notability through secondary sources for a lot of these topics so there was little reason to not create them; after all, Australian topics I think get less attention than ones from more populated countries like the United Kingdom or the United States.

Articles I have significantly edited

These are just some of the many articles I have edited, you can find a list of all the articles I have contributed to on the xTools page about my user account.

  • 2025 Australian federal election – Election of Australia's 48th parliament, I really wanted to be part of making the best article Wikipedia had ever seen on an Australian election, that means I completed most of the campaign section, added too much to further reading and generally kept things somewhat tidy. I am considering making the same kind of improvements to this year's Australian state elections.
  • Online Safety Amendment (Social Media Minimum Age) Act 2024 – Australian legislation, naturally I would edit this a lot because it is a hugely notable topic and is important regarding Australian children's online futures, I don't want people to be lost on what this new law will do.
