User:Sdkb/List of colleges and universities by number of alumni with Wikipedia pages

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a list of selected institutions of higher education, along with counts of their alumni with Wikipedia pages. The last column adjusts the counts by size and founding date, producing the number of alumni with pages per thousand alumni.

Some colleges graduate many times more notable alumni than others.

If you'd like to see a particular college rise in the ranking, go write some articles!

Bad assumptions:

  • The present size of an institution is the size it's always been (the total alumni count is estimated using age×student body size/4)
  • All alumni of an institution are categorized
  • All notable alumni of an institution have a page, and all alumni with a page are notable
  • Alumni categories have no diffused subcategories

University undergraduate colleges of arts and sciences

Caution: Because many university alumni are not properly categorized under the university's undergraduate college, the data in this section should be taken with an extra grain of salt, and it is unavailable for many institutions.
