I like ships, and I like space (and spaceships). I don't actually focus all that heavily on those topics (especially ships), but I am the main contributor of WikiProject Spaceflight's newsletter, The Downlink. Outside of that, history is a big thing for me. I tend to avoid current events and controversial topics, though I may participate in discussions of more technical issues.

In terms of content, you can mostly expect copyediting, wording/phrasing changes, and similar minor things. However, I have created three pages (see below), and I have also nominated two pages for deletion at Articles for Deletion. I do contribute to discussions and other backend community tasks, but I am somewhat selective on what I comment on. For an example of what I consider myself to be capable of, see my work on First contact (science fiction). Below is a (somewhat old) selection of my contributions to Wikipedia that I believe illustrate my capacities best. (For a full list of my contributions, see my contributions page.)

I live in the East Bay, and my favorite thing to do is learn (which is why I'm interested in Wikipedia). I only want Wikipedia to be the best information center in human history.
