  • Caine (film) (currently a redirect to From the World of John Wick: Caine)  From the World of John Wick: Caine – It seems as though there were 2 drafts for the same article being worked on at the same time. The article that was moved to the main space at Cain (film) in its current state now as a redirect article, was originally created as "From the World of John Wick: Caine". This can be seen through its revision history, and was done on April 25 at 20:10. I had done so after trying to search Wikipedia's search engine for all iterations of an "Untitled John Wick spin-off". Unable to locate the various ones that I could think of, I completed this article and moved it to the main space at the stated time. The non-anon editor located at, User:2pou then inexplicably moved that article to its current dedirect status. They did so with the name that after reviewing multiple revision histories was the name of an article they had been moving to the name of "Cain (film)"; though there were errors which can also be seen in the revision history. After moving the previous article to a redirect page, they then also moving their draft to the main space at the current location From the World of John Wick: Caine on April 25 at 20:31. Reviewing these articles, I cannot see why the moves were done by the stated user, and simply want to see if an Admin can ensure that proper processes were followed. I have since taken to the talkpage there, and also alerted the stated user here. I have merged the information that was on the article prior to the users interesting processes in question, but I'm curious if it should have been their article that had information merged to the other page, seeing as one was in the main space before the other(?). I appreciate your assistance on this confusing situation!--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 02:45, 27 April 2026 (UTC) DisneyMetalhead (talk) 02:45, 27 April 2026 (UTC)
I'll move this to the Admin section based on WP:AGF, but at first glance this just appears to be a case of OP misunderstanding WP:OWNERSHIP. 162 etc. (talk) 03:16, 27 April 2026 (UTC)
@DisneyMetalhead:: The timing of moves and action may give an impression that there was some impropriety. 2pou's version though started as a draft in 2024, it was moved into the mainspace (Special:Permalink/1351035444) just about 4 hours before you created yours (Special:Permalink/1351075017. Anyone else would have merged your version into 2pou's version and redirect accordingly as such per standard practice of merging content from the different pages of the same topic into the older article. Other than 2pou's exercising their pagemover rights to move their own article to where your article was occupying, assuming your title was the right title, the moves made would probably have been proper if exercised by other person otherwise. A move back would be counter productive and purely bureaucratic. – robertsky (talk) 09:11, 27 April 2026 (UTC)
@Jeffrey34555 Protected only temp editors and admins can move it. CONFUSED SPIRIT(Thilio).Talk 07:20, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
sigh while I appreciate the close, Jeffrey34555, this falls into WP:BADNAC territory since you can't actually implement the close; please consider that in the future when making RM closes. Primefac (talk) 08:58, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
@Primefac this is allowed per WP:RMNAC paragraph 4. HurricaneZeta alt (talk) 17:50, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
My sincere apologies, I have been out of the RM space for too long and forgot that exception. Primefac (talk) 20:13, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
On hold until Twinkle and XFDcloser maintainers have done what they need to do. – robertsky (talk) 00:41, 27 April 2026 (UTC)
