Here's all you need to know for most armor related questions.

• Is there armor for .50 BMG
  • Yes there is. Chicken Plates have 500m standoff, AA4UPs have M33 point blank IIRC, SARVIPs can eat dedicated AP.
• What would be a recommended armor
  • Probably a Hesco 4400 or 4401, they're a mix of cheap, useful, and reliable.
• Why is AR500 terrible?
  • Quality issues, certification fuckery, using affiliates... Check the APM, top right.
• What is GOST?
  • It is the Russian armor standard, stretching from GOST 1, 2, 2A, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 6A. See also, VPAM, HOSDB.

• How bad is blunt force trauma?
  • Getting shot is about as problematic as being punched in armor. Pictured is a Hardcorps 2 armor vest, with steel inserts. It was made by Second Chance Armor.
