Ssemmanda Will is a Ugandan Wikimedian, educator, and journalist from Mityana District. With over 15,000 edits, he is a senior contributor and former team lead of Luganda Wikipedia under the Wikimedia Community User Group Uganda (WCUGU).
Since joining Wikimedia in 2016 as a student at Makerere University, Will has evolved into a respected community strategist, mentoring contributors and actively engaging in Wikimedia projects across Uganda and Africa.
As Community Manager of WCUGU, Will leads the implementation of strategic objectives, oversees communications, and ensures that underrepresented local voices thrive in global knowledge spaces.
