About me
I am a trainee lawyer based in the United Kingdom. My interest in law means I naturally focus on evidence, procedure, interpretation and clear argument. I use Wikipedia in part to develop those skills, particularly in relation to policy-based reasoning.
I am also conscious that Wikipedia is not a courtroom. I try not to treat editorial discussions as adversarial, and I am mindful of wikilawyering. My aim is to contribute constructively and support consensus.
Editing approach
- Policy + informed judgement.
- I prefer calm, evidence-based discussion.
- I reject "vibes based" judgements made by editors.
- I try to assume good faith where possible.
- I treat policy as guidance, not as a tool for point-scoring.
- Common sense > process.
Areas of interest
- Deletion discussions and notability
- Policy discussions
