This will gradually get tarted up over time.
I've used Stevebritgimp on wikipedia for quite a while, but not got round to much on the wiki, but am likely to drop in from time to time from 2007, as I learn how this thing works. My incarnation as the Gimp has appeared on various internet boards, and this is just more of the same.
I 'live' (if you call it living) in the only place I know, my home Plymouth, in the kingdom of Devon. I have spent a life reading stuff in books, but now I have the net, so my life is over. I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none, and at least currently I have I used to have a day job, working for him, although thinking about 'him'. Then I was working for him and him. Much time is spent reading on many subjects:
- Being one of the brights, getting involved with SITP and humanism.
- History, particularly of Britain, of Celts, of anyone of all the world
- Languages, especially in how they relate, synthetic languages and artificial languages
- Neopaganism - lapsed witch, I think more nostalgia than anything now
- Science - anything at all, that's after all how everything works
- Gaming - the solid real variety, not computer, and is my life-long obsession
- Armchair sportman - almost anything, although with a particular interest in development of world team sports, especially in the United States.
The internet is my portal to the world, and I'm hoping to add my tiny weight to things I give a toss about.
