Who I am
Hi! I am Stella Yu. I used to dabble in Wikipedia as a volunteer. I have not dabbled for many years although I attend most of the BayArea WikiSalon meetups. I am Founder of StellaResults. An advisory firm that consults companies on brand management on Wikipedia. My colleague is User:FacultiesIntact.

Why do I care about Wikipedia
Wikipedia is very important. However, because it's so ubiquitous, most users accept accessibility to Wikipedia as a right. The access to information in many parts of the world is not a right, nor a privilege. My interest to use Wikipedia and participate as an attendee of Wikipedia meetups and conferences is to meet and collaborate with others in person.
What am I doing on Wikipedia
To be honest, I am an avid user of Wikipedia. I use Wikipedia mostly for research. Early when I founded the firm, this was many years prior to the requirement for COI disclosure. From the moment we learned of the update to the Terms of Use, my colleague User:FacultiesIntact became our sole content and community manager who creates content, declares COI, and petitions the community to review and publish updates to Wikipedia articles. Consequently, I do not use this username other than in my participation to events. User:FacultiesIntact is no longer a colleague on my team. However, User:Chefmikesf is now contributing in community engagement on behalf of some of our clients in our portfolio.
