About Xaymacan
Greetings! ♡
I've been mainly working on articles about food, culture and history, especially about Jamaica and by extension the Caribbean and Americas, or other related subjects. My intention is to improve/create articles on the aforementioned while sharing knowledge.
My educational background entails studies in History, Humanities, Sociology, Caribbean Studies, Literature, Communication Studies, Food & Nutrition, Social Studies and Law et al. Thus, I generally focus on articles that I have extensive knowledge on or have researched. When writing I consider multiple perspectives supported by facts/evidence, often including detailed contributions, esp. on aspects that may lack substance, accuracy, clarity, structure, context, images or details.
