I first registered this account - my first - April 20, 2007. Since then, I've gotten involved pretty deeply in AfD work. I see it as a chance to triage articles that are flawed, but may yet have potential. If you need access to a Wikipedia article that has been deleted, ask me. If it's not a copyright violation, libel, or personal information, and has not been deleted as a suspected biographies of living persons violation, I will userfy the article for you. Note that using the text to recreate any deleted article may automatically qualify them for speedy deletion, and copies of previously deleted content that are being used solely for long-term archival purposes may be subject to deletion because Wikipedia is not a free web host. We have a list of alternative sites which may be used to host your content. I maintain a sock account AVPW primarily for use on public networks. In the event of a compromised account, I specifically request any administrator to honor a request from AVPW to block this account, and absolve you in advance of any repercussions. To do list:

AviciiReason: Hello, I would like to request a test unprotection of the article Avicii. It has now been eight years since his passing, and recently the page has not been edited or visited very frequently. Because of the lower level of activity, it may be worth testing whether the current protection is still necessary. A similar request was made earlier for the Martin Garrix article, which was later unprotected, and vandalism did not return. For this reason, I believe it could be reasonable to try the same approach here. Thank you. This would also bring the treatment of naval losses much more in line with aviation losses. An alternate (in my opinion uglier) option would be:

AutopatrolledUser:Umais Bin Sajjad
I have created over 150 mainspace articles (primarily in the area of Film and TV). While some of my earlier creations were deleted, the majority of my recent articles remain live, and I have refined my sourcing and notability assessment standards over time. I am familiar with WP:N, WP:BLP, WP:V and WP:RS and I ensure that all new articles meet notability and sourcing standards prior to creation. As I continue to create new articles...I believe autopatrolled would help reduce workload for NPP, as my pages generally require minimal follow-up. Umais Bin Sajjad (talk) 12:03, 22 February 2026 (UTC) User:TinaLees-Jones
User has created over 900 live articles, mainly all relating to Asian people and places. None of the articles I've randomly spot checked have any major issues that would prevent them from passing muster in NPP. SnowyRiver28 (talk) 01:15, 13 March 2026 (UTC) User:AjayDas
I mainly create articles related to Assam. Currently, I have around 100 live articles on Wikipedia. Auto-patrol rights would be helpful if you consider. Please let me know if there's any way to improve my contribution if it's rejected. AjayDas (talk) 06:38, 15 March 2026 (UTC) There are no outstanding requests for the confirmed flag.
File moverUser:Umais Bin Sajjad
Requesting file mover rights to correct misnamed files related to TV and film articles. I frequently encounter files uploaded with incorrect names and would like to move them to accurate titles while preserving history. Example: File:Pakistan_Idol_(season_1).jpg actually contains the poster for MasterChef Pakistan season 1. I plan to fix similar straightforward naming issues in accordance with file naming guidelines. Umais Bin Sajjad (talk) 04:45, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

I'm a recent changes patroller. I've read the policy on vandalism, the basic content policies, the basic legal policy, and the guideline on reviewing. As of recently, I have rollback rights. Cadddr (talk) 00:34, 14 March 2026 (UTC)
RollbackUser:Phlogiston Enthusiast
Hello! I am Phlogiston Enthusiast. I would like a moment of your time to request rollback rights. I believe that I could use rollback permissions to assist in anti-vandalism in the recent changes tab. There are multiple reasons for this. For one, it would streamline reverts on articles that need them, and be a useful tool against vandalism. This is because if a user is making edits of a vandalistic nature, they are likely to have made multiple. Rollback would assist with these issues and prevent long and drawn-out revert wars by vandals. Second, I believe that I meet the qualifications for the role. I possess experience patrolling the recent changes section, and have reverted many vandalous edits. If need be, I can attempt to provide a comprehensive list of the articles on which I have combatted vandalism. Finally, I understand that it looks bad to have had two arguments over vandalism-related subjects in the past. However, I would argue that this is almost the opposite, as having a clean record with no mistakes would mean that I had no mistakes to learn from, and as well I have apologized to all parties involved in both. In summary, I believe that I should possess rollback rights as to better combat vandalism, and if need be there can be elaboration. If not, I completely understand. Ammending: this was written roughly a month ago. I was told that I would need one month's experience more before I should re-apply. I have since aqquired more than this. I have been the cause for scores of blocks and have better since de-vandalized the Wiki. Following my embarrasing mishap recently reguarding confusion over the tool, I have better researched it and now believe I would be more fit to utilize this. My name is dafootballguy and I am a mobile editor. I applied for the permission in mid January and was turned down for not having 1 month of recent changes patrol. I have done more than 1 month and want to reapply so I can use counter-vandalism scripts like interceptor. I had asked an admin but I can't find the request. Thank you for your time. I've started reverting vandalism edits, with a pattern of revert, warning the user, and reporting to AIV if they have a history of vandalism and the warn is severe. Another user notified me on my talk page that I might find rollback useful, and it looks like it would definitely speed up reverting repeat offenders that were never reverted.
