Deprodding of Waluigi effect
I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}} tag from Waluigi effect, which you proposed for deletion. The page is not eligible for WP:PROD because Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Waluigi effect already happened, (despite being an April Fools' nomination, I believe it counts under the WP:PRODNOM condition of it never being at AfD). If you still think this article should be deleted, please do not add {{proposed deletion}} back to the page. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! I would definitely encourage a nomination because you have a rather strong argument, I just removed the WP:PROD because of its purely technical ineligibility (which is rather frustrating). Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Waluigi effect
Hi there! Thanks for contributing to WP:AfD. Unfortunately, you need to create a new nomination and cannot edit an old one (other than to correct errors). I have reverted your edits. Please see WP:AFDHOWTO for how to nominate an article; a much easier way, however, is to install WP:Twinkle and using their script, which is incredibly efficient. If you need further help, feel free to check out WP:TEA or WP:HD. Thanks! jolielover♥talk 17:31, 9 October 2025 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!
Fiat money
Just to be clear: I do not dispute in any way whatever that the URL you are citing is a credible statement of Renmimbi notes and coins in circulation... today. But the table at Fiat currency#Money creation and regulation is dated 2015 and its source is the "red book" of that date – which is where the "not available" declaration comes from. So not the page is not "propogating false information": the problem is that it is (very) out of date information – but at least it is consistent.
So you should certainly correct it and that would be the best solution by far. But you have to update it fully, including revising the text that introduces it. It is not legitimate, let alone useful, to have a random mix of 2015 data and 2025 data. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 08:52, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- @JMF that link is dated from 2015. I will update it fully.
- I saw your longer reply and yes, as you surmised correctly, I failed to check that the "not available" statement was indeed a true statement if the source. That it might be a deliberate lie had not occurred to me. So thank you for your tolerance.
- We may have achieved it the hard way but the outcome should make it worthwhile. --𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 09:05, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- @JMF appreciate you and your work to keep things high quality. I updated based on China's published data for the year. the report includes M1, but not M0, so it would not have been apples to apples as the rest of the table reports M0. I will think about updating to 2024 data as the money supply has greatly changed since. 0xReflektor (talk) 09:34, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. So it was not a deliberate lie but certainly misleading by its [probably unintended] implication that China had withheld the data. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 10:59, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- @JMF it's unclear why M0, but M1 and most other stats are included in the report for china. the report has several missing figures across countries, which makes it look like an issue with the report itself, not so much with country-level transparency or reporting. however, without commentary included in the report it's hard to determine why it is missing. nevertheless, it seems unfair to attribute missing data to a country instead of the report provider. 0xReflektor (talk) 11:14, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. So it was not a deliberate lie but certainly misleading by its [probably unintended] implication that China had withheld the data. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 10:59, 24 October 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to COVID-19, broadly construed, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Reference mistakes
Hi 0xReflektor. I have been taking a look at the recent solar articles you have added, and I noticed a few unusual reference mistakes. I first checked the Wang–Sheeley–Arge model article and noticed that references 1, 4, and 9 have inaccessible DOI or URL, and references 2, 11, 12, 17, and 20 have missing/reordered authors. I took a look at the other new articles and noticed similar mistakes (especially the latter) as well as some more unusual ones.
- Inconsistently truncated author lists: almost every reference in Space Weather Modeling Framework includes only the lead author while in other articles you include all (or at least most) authors.
- Paraphrased title: reference 14 in Potential-field source-surface model has incorrect authors and title; the title in wikitext ("Coronal field opens at lower height during solar minima: Consequences for solar wind predictions") seems to be a paraphrased version of the actual title ("Coronal Field Opens at Lower Height During the Solar Cycles 22 and 23 Minimum Periods: IMF Comparison Suggests the Source Surface Should Be Lowered"). There was a conference proceedings paper the year prior to the Solar Physics paper titled "Coronal Field Opens at Lower Height During the Weak Solar Cycle 23 Minimum: IMF Comparison Suggests Source Surface Should be Lowered to 1.8 Solar Radii", but I cannot find anything with the exact name of the title you used in the wikitext.
- Paraphrased quotes: reference 4 and 10 in NSO Integrated Synoptic Program include quotes that do not appear in their exact form in the website/document. The quote provided in the former is a data attribution, which does not make sense to include in the first place.
Are you using an AI tool? I am at a loss trying to understand how these mistakes could have been made otherwise. Apologies if not, but you need to be more careful regardless. CoronalMassAffection (talk) 06:26, 12 November 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Joseph W. Chamberlain.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Joseph W. Chamberlain.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a copyright violation and has no credible claim of non-free use or permission. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Beast Industries

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Beast Industries, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Toarin (talk) 06:01, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
A question about image licensing
I see that you have uploaded at least two images from https://clasp.engin.umich.edu/, stating that they are licensed under a Creative Commons license. However, I can't find any confirmation of that; the only statement about copyright I have been able to find anywhere on that website is "© 2025 The Regents of the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, MI 48109 USA". Where did you get the information that the university has licensed those images under a Creative Commons license? JBW (talk) 16:59, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Logo for Space Weather Modeling Framework.png

Thanks for uploading File:Logo for Space Weather Modeling Framework.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Paypal Mafia 2014.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Paypal Mafia 2014.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
