ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:48, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

March 2026
Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of Airbus A220 operators, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Danners430 tweaks made 22:07, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Danners430 The source is literally there (), what are you on about? Alin2808 (talk) 22:09, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- You mean the source dated March 2025...? Danners430 tweaks made 22:09, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- Should be 8 March 2026, because that's when I added it to the article. You could've fixed typo yourself... Alin2808 (talk) 22:11, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- And I'm meant to know that's a typo how exactly..? I'm looking at a diff, and I'm seeing an editor making a change to a set of numbers and the only sources are a year old. If that is indeed a typo, then yes, update it accordingly. Danners430 tweaks made 22:13, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- The parameter is about when the source was retrieved, I added it on 8 March 2026 which means that parameter should've been that same day. But regardless, the listed number of A220s on the website is still 4. Alin2808 (talk) 22:16, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- Again - I did not see you add it, as you added it two days ago and I was looking at an edit that was made today, not two days ago. I hate to be a bit forceful here, but please understand you have to take responsibility for your edits. Danners430 tweaks made 22:18, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- The edit when I added it. And then someone proceeded to revert the number (and ignore the source) in this edit. That's why I reupdated the number in the first place. Alin2808 (talk) 22:22, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- That's all well and good - and for the third time now, how am I meant to know that when I'm looking at an edit made today instead of an edit made two days ago? You made a typo when you added the source... that's fine, you've sorted it now, but that's why your edit was undone - because it was, at the time, unsourced as a source dated March 2025 cannot verify information added in 2026. Whether it was a typo or not is rather immaterial - editors like myself and readers have no idea that it is a typo, only you know that.
- Anyway, this is turning into a nothing burger - as I said in my original notice, please ensure you take care to add citations as appropriate. We all make mistakes, which is why I'm simply asking you to take more care in the future. Danners430 tweaks made 22:24, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

crimean war
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing a page's content back to how you believe it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree with your changes. Please stop editing the page and use the talk page to work toward creating a version of the page that represents consensus among the editors involved. Wikipedia provides a page explaining how this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can request help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution such as a third opinion. In some cases, you may wish to request page protection while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.
If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule— if things indicate that you intend to continue reverting content on the page. - @Slatersteven Do you not understand that Silistria is in Bulgaria, not in Crimea? An infobox image should represent the actual article, so a battle that took place in Crimea is more fitting than one that took place in Bulgaria. Alin2808 (talk) 18:20, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- You do understand that the Crimean war was also fought in Bulgaria. Did you read the article? Slatersteven (talk) 18:34, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- You do understand the most important battles took place in Crimea, hence the name "Crimean War". Also, are you really defending an edit in which an editor just decided he wanted a different image (without discussion, without consensus), an edit which replaced the same image I just re-added? Alin2808 (talk) 18:41, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- Made months ago, so you are just as much editing without discussion. Slatersteven (talk) 18:44, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- Because it's quite obvious that a siege in Bulgaria is not representative for a war that was mainly focused in Crimea. Why do you keep thinking otherwise? Alin2808 (talk) 18:48, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- You should revert and make your case at the article talk page, not here. Slatersteven (talk) 18:52, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
