A belated welcome!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, AnonymousDDoS. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Sour mash
Sorry if the tone of my edit a few minutes ago was a bit brash. I'm pretty convinced that this origin story for sour mash is just a popular myth, possibly assisted by people with a financial interest in it. There are a lot of silly myths that surround the history of distilling in the U.S. (and elsewhere). –BarrelProof (talk) 05:38, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- No problem, but I have a question. How can the distilling process of sour mash be supported? Is there a reference to it anywhere else in the wiki, or even somewhere externally where it can be cited? I just don't see how it fits in the article summary section. -- AnonymousDDoS (talk) 15:09, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
- The article certainly suffers from a lack of citations. It should be pretty easy to find some references that support what the sour mash process is, describe roughly when it became commonly used, and describe how prevalent it currently is – although its exact origin is probably uknown. I'll try to remember to work on that. —BarrelProof (talk) 18:00, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
Concurrency testing
You moved Concurrency testing to Help:Concurrency testing with the explanation This page needs to be deleted. References to concurrency testing can be found in the Load testing article. Pages in the Help space are intended specifically to be used to provide instruction in the use of Wikipedia; they are not intended to "sweep articles under the rug". In the future, if you wish to have a page deleted of which you have been the sole author, just put the {{db-author}} template on the page. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:46, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
AFC Backlog
| Articles for Creation urgently needs YOUR help!
Articles for Creation is desperately short of reviewers! We are looking for urgent help, from experienced editors, in reviewing submissions in the pending submissions queue. Currently there are 2613 submissions waiting to be reviewed and many help requests at our Help Desk.
If the answer to these questions is yes, then please read the reviewing instructions and donate a little of your time to helping tackle the backlog. You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions.
We would greatly appreciate your help. Currently, only a small handful of users are reviewing articles. Any help, even if it's just 2 or 3 reviews, it would be extremely beneficial. |
