Don't worry, I'm a reddit mod; aka I'm used to staring at a screen for hours and removing hate speech and trolls :3 (Arachnid's userpage | what did I do now) 19:21, 15 May 2025 (UTC)

A little suggestion!

Hello! I've been a Wikipedia Rollbacker for a while., but I used to be in the same situation as you. I used to use RedWarn, but I eventually switched to Ultraviolet! This is NOT an ad or sponsorship, this is literally just me telling you that Ultraviolet is the "new" version of RedWarn. The RedWarn team is trying to transition/rename to Ultraviolet. Just a little suggestion I have for you! Also, just because you become a rollbacker, does not mean that you can't use Ultraviolet- You can actually use Rollback on RedWarn/Ultraviolet if you want! For example, I use both AntiVandal and Ultraviolet! Happy Editing Undoing, Reverting, AND editing! Cooldudeseven7 talk/contribs 16:15, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

yeah ik, but I didnt really understand that when I started xD
is the UI that different? (Arachnid's userpage | what did I do now) 16:17, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
In my opinion, not really! But, if you want, you can always stick to RedWarn. I can also give you a UI comparison image if you need it.
Addition: Ultraviolet also rewrote RedWarn, so you can see a compatability/changes/supported features chart here. Cooldudeseven7 talk/contribs 16:23, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
thanks so much. id love an image <3 (Arachnid's userpage | what did I do now) 16:27, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

(the BOTTOM image is ultraviolet)
Also: Please know that Ultraviolet is in beta, and there might be a few bugs. Cooldudeseven7 talk/contribs 16:38, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
I also checked the feature comparison, seems very lacking. I'll be sticking with RW for now, thanks for the heads up tho. I may check back in a few months to see if its improved ^w^ (Arachnid's userpage | what did I do now) 16:40, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
No problem! Just a little thing that caught my eye Happy editing! I also have posted an UPDATED version of the ultraviolet toolbar, the previous image was from a VERY old version. Cooldudeseven7 talk/contribs 16:43, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Midnight movie

Greetings. I'm not sure what prompted you to rollback my recent edits to midnight movie, but it was a clear misapplication of that capacity. As your instructions state; "Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits."

My edits have clearly been in good faith. Every edit was commented and commented accurately. Every factual claim I added is cited to a quality source (several best in field). I added (concise) discussions of a few crucial films to the "Decline" section that were previously lacking. I added several new high-quality sources. I properly formatted several citations of online sources that were a mess (and am planning to properly format all those that remain). I cut a small number of entries to an overabundant list-sentence that were supported only by a low-quality source (and improved the sourcing of most of the other entries). I restored language to the intro that properly reflects the actual body of the narrative, per MOS:LEAD. All policies were followed.

I trust your rollback was an error made in good faith. I'll give you an opportunity to revert it yourself. If you've gone offline, I'll do it myself before turning in for the night. Best regards, 24.90.253.80 (talk) 01:30, 6 June 2025 (UTC)

Hey there, just woke up.
Your edit was automatically flagged as problematic, therefore it appeared in my queue. The reason I reverted one of your edits was because you changed "non-mainstream" to "nonmainstream", which was a spelling error. Sorry for any confusion, as to my sleep-deprived brain, it didn't actually look like any information was added, rather just rephrasing the main paragraph. If you check section 4.1b on Wikipedia:Rollback, this is what has happened. Wikipedia:RedWarn is unfortunately broken for alot of users right now, and this is what led to an incorrect configuration using rollback instead of undo. Thanks for all the edits you are making to a very niche genre of films, and you seem to be very familiar with wikipedia best practices, therefore I highly advise you make an account. Also, for future reference, rollback is not just for vandalism, but you are correct in believing it is the main use-case.

Thanks for pointing out my error, have a lovely day (this would be an acceptable instance for smacking me with a trout) (Arachnid's userpage | what did I do now) 06:48, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
