I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hi Benzekre. Thank you for your work on Lydia Spivak. Another editor, Mariamnei, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thank you for your work on this article. Unfortunately, it is not yet ready for main space. Please add more sources and footnotes to back up each claim. Please note that self-published sources such as YouTube can generally not be used. Please also establish notability as per WP:BIO. I will be moving it to draft. Please feel free to republish once it meets the above criteria. Thanks and have a great day!

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Mariamnei}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Is it possible to add sources from articles with a different language besides English? The problem I had is that most references I found on Lydia Spivak are either Chinese or Russian. Benzekre (talk) 13:24, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
@Mariamnei Please let me know if it's better now Benzekre (talk) 19:44, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for your work on this article. It's certainly an improvement, although I would continue improving before you republish. First of all, please fix the error in footnote 2. Also, the general recommendation is to bring at least 3 sources primarily about the subject. You currently have 2 sources, and I can't tell if the second one is primarily about the subject. If it is, I would add at least one more. I also recommend trying to footnote each claim. Thanks and have a great day! Mariamnei (talk) 06:35, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
@Mariamnei Thank you. I have tried to fix the error in footnote 2, however I cannot manage it. Can you please help out? I have now also added a template with further information. I believe the article should now be good enough for publishing. I will try to find an additional reference and also add a picture or two at a later time. Benzekre (talk) 09:16, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
I fixed the date, pay attention to the format for future use. I still only see two sources. Am I missing something? Thanks and have a great day. Mariamnei (talk) 09:55, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
@Mariamnei There are now three sources. Kindly remove from draft and allow article publishing. Nice day to you too! Benzekre (talk) 10:53, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
Do sources 2 and 3 include extensive coverage of the subject, or are they passing mentions? Mariamnei (talk) 11:15, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
@Mariamnei Source 2 is an internet source which is very detailed. Source 3 is a book on the many people that were called up the war. Page 6 of the book talks about the person who is subject of this article. Benzekre (talk) 11:21, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
I have moved it back to article. I think it narrowly meets notability, although I encourage you to continue to expand it. Mariamnei (talk) 11:53, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
@Mariamnei I definitely will try to improve it further. Thank you. Benzekre (talk) 12:05, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
