The World Destubathon
Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

- I am writing to formally appeal my block for sockpuppetry and to apologize for my conduct. I admit to creating this account, User:Blaada, to bypass a block placed on my original account, User:Aman8188, which was blocked for edit warring.
- Admission of POV Pushing and Disruptive Editing:
- I want to be fully transparent about my edits on Kajri and related articles. I allowed my personal views regarding the linguistic classification of folk music—specifically the distinction between Awadhi and Bhojpuri—to interfere with the goal of building a neutral encyclopedia.
- I admit to POV pushing to reflect my own perspective.
- I wrongly removed content supported by reliable sources because I disagreed with the classification or felt it was over-applying the "Bhojpuri" label.
- Instead of using talk pages to reach consensus with other editors like User:Adrikshit, I engaged in disruptive edit warring and reverted edits with citations.
- Commitment to Policy:
- I have since reviewed WP:NPOV, WP:CITE, and the WP:CLEANSTART policy. I realize now that my attempt at a fresh start was not legitimate because I used it to continue an old dispute. If given a second chance:
- 1. I will strictly use only one account and never create another.
- 2. I will prioritize the use of talk pages over reverting edits.
- 3. I will respect sourced information, even when it does not align with my personal regional perspective.

The previous account User:Aman8188 was blocked due to editwarring on Kajri page related to it's language. It was my first and new account and I wasn't aware of Wikipedia rules and guidelines. After it was blocked, I made another one Mirzapurawadh since I didn't know the sockpuppetry rule, it was immediately blocked. After months later, I requested to unblock, but it wasn't been. Months later I created this account and started contributing along with learning rules.▄︻テ░Blaada══━一 (talk) 05:26, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
