Rather than deleting this section, perhaps you could write a paragraph more accurately explaining what happened to the Vees? The article as it reads today doesn't touch on the subject at all. 162 etc. (talk) 23:14, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

The BCHL is independent of the WHL and the existence of a Penticton WHL franchise doesn't automatically negate the pre-existing BCHL franchise. The BCHL stated, on its website, "Vees ownership will retain its membership in the BCHL and will look to relocate in the near future".^[1] This confirms the BCHL franchise still exists and is merely seeking a new home, not that it has ceased to be. In the interest of accuracy, we should avoid definitive statements about the BCHL Vees' ultimate fate until a relocation is officially announced.
