Sources for Preacher's Daughter
Hi CatchMe, thanks for reverting my edit in Preacher's Daughter, I was unaware Far Out was in that list of unreliable sources in music. For the "Ptolemaea" source I found the Paste review and the Billboard article as replacements, rewriting my edit as: While a distorsioned male voice says "gave you, need you, love you", the character begs to "stop", as the song concludes with a spoken word outro where the voice utters minister-like incantations to the Daughters of Cain, their "whore" mothers, and their children.
About a better source for "August Underground" being titled after the film, I only found the Still Magazine review but I'm now unsure to use it as you deleted from the article. (If you think it's unreliable to use it here also you can let me know. :) )
Aside from that, I found this Rolling Stone interview where Ethel reveals plans of working on an EP of the character's school years and I think we can mention it in the "Cinematic Universe" paragraph, though I don't see to mention the EP in the article's lead section as I see it as a minor release regarding the future plans related to Preacher's Daughter.
Also, I want to congrat you for dedication with this and the other Ethel Cain articles, hope you get another good article with Preacher's Daughter. PS: I feel that the "Music and style" section can be expanded to talk about the music genres of the other songs from the album as it only talks about three songs only. I've been looking the album review sources that are already in the article and, from what I see, they have enough info we can add for most of the songs. I can help with redacting, and you can check if everything's alright with the info I want to add. :) GiankM. M (talk) 20:27, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @GiankM. M thanks for reaching out and the kind words! Feel free to add any information with the appropiate sources. About the Still Listening Magazine, it isn't in WP:RSMUSIC or any list of reliable sources (as far as I know) so a GAN reviewer could bring a discussion of how it is reliable, that's why I removed it. I have plans of nominating the article for FAC in the future but of course it should pass this current nomination and more work would be needed then. Any contribution is welcome!! :) CatchMe (talk · contribs) 15:22, 15 March 2025 (UTC)

WikiCup 2025 May newsletter
The second round of the 2025 WikiCup ended on 28 April at 23:59 UTC. To reiterate what we said in the previous newsletter, we are no longer disqualifying contestants based on how many points (now known as round points) they received. Instead, the contestants with the highest round-point totals now receive tournament points at the end of each round. These tournament points are carried over between rounds, and can only be earned if a competitor is among the top 16 round-point scorers at the end of each round. This table shows all competitors who have received tournament points so far. Everyone who competed in round 2 will advance to round 3 unless they have withdrawn or been banned.
Round 2 was quite competitive. Four contestants scored more than 1,000 round points, and eight scored more than 500 points (including one who has withdrawn). The following competitors scored at least 800 points:
BeanieFan11 (submissions) with 1,233 round points from 24 good articles, 28 Did you know articles, and one In the news nomination, mainly about athletes and politicians
Thebiguglyalien (submissions) with 1,127 round points, almost entirely from two high-multiplier featured articles on Black Widow (Natasha Romanova) and Grace Coolidge, in addition to two GAs and two reviews
History6042 (submissions) with 1,088 round points from four featured lists about Michelin-starred restaurants, nine good articles and a good topic mostly on Olympic-related subjects, seven ITN articles, and dozens of reviews
Gog the Mild (submissions) with 1,085 round points from three FAs, one GA, and four DYKs on military history, as well as 18 reviews
Arconning (submissions) with 887 round points, mostly from four FLs, six GAs, and seven DYKs on Olympic topics, along with more than two dozen reviews
In addition, we would like to recognize
Generalissima (submissions) for her efforts; she scored 801 round points but withdrew before the end of the round.
The full scores for round 2 can be seen here. During this round, contestants have claimed 13 featured articles, 20 featured lists, 4 featured-topic articles, 138 good articles, 7 good-topic articles, and more than 100 Did You Know articles. In addition, competitors have worked on 19 In the News articles, and they have conducted nearly 300 reviews.
Remember that any content promoted after 28 April but before the start of Round 3 can be claimed in Round 3. Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, feel free to review one of the nominations listed on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages. Good luck! DYK for Little House (EP)
On 14 May 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Little House (EP), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Rachel Chinouriri has dreamed of having a Little House with a partner since she was a child? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Little House (EP). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Little House (EP)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
Warning
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Easy Lover (Miley Cyrus song). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. As I stated, Miley Cyrus once referred the song as a single, and furthermore I provided reliable sources related to it, but you have ignored all of them. Warning other users, your opponents, just to exaggerate their edit as wrong edit, seems not proper on Wikipedia. Anyway, I opened a discussion on its talk page. Camilasdandelions (talk!) 05:08, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Camilasdandelions: Please refrain from sending these messages in my talk page, as it is a crude copy of the warning I sent to yours minutes ago. You still don't know what a warning template is, days after you confused it with a copyedit. Concerning the additional text, no reliable sources were provided and no user is my "opponent" so I don't know what you're talking about. Wikipedia is for factual information, not opinions. Wikipedia:If it ain't broke, don't fix it
You've referred this essay whenever the edit conflict occured with me, (or, perhaps, with others) but as I said multiple times that it's an essay, not a guideline, so it is unenforceable to limit others' edits. Actually, changing from Hlist to Flatlist is making editors edit easier, and that's why some users (including me) use that way in various album articles. And as I'm sorry that you reported me immediately without a trial to talk with me (in my talk page), I opened this discussion to talk with you. Hope you understand this. Camilasdandelions (talk!) 04:34, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- Why would that insignificant change make editing easier? And removing random spaces or adding unnecessary capital letters to templates? Editing just for the sake of editing is not something helpful, and most of those edits come with removals of actual relevant information. PS: It's hard to understand with the translator typos. CatchMe (talk · contribs) 04:44, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- Is adding capital letters to templates wrong? And removing spaces from section is wrong? The reason why I did these are, actually templates' names start with capital letters, so I fixed to capital, and for the latter, those spaces aren't needed. As I said multiple times, that essay is not a guideline, and there's no even guidelines like "do not edit unnecessarily". For your PS, I don't get it because I didn't even use a translator in here. But please be polite, not using aggressive tone to me. Thanks. Camilasdandelions (talk!) 04:50, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- Neither wrong nor helpful, and I guess we're just ignoring the removals. For the "aggressive tone", that actually never happened. CatchMe (talk · contribs) 18:37, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- As you said, it's not that major edits, then you can keep them but why reverting it? Just because it's not a major edit? It doesn't even harm the articles either. Plus, people can accept it as aggressive because you said edits I've done is "unnecessary" and concluding that I've used a translator even though there's no translator typos(?). Camilasdandelions (talk!) 23:00, 16 September 2025 (UTC)

Warning
Your recent editing history at Eusexua Afterglow shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. An edit war occurs when two or more users begin repeatedly reverting content on a page in a back-and-forth fashion to restore it back to how they think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree with their changes. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or undo the edits made by other editors when your changes are reverted. Instead, please use the talk page to work toward creating a version of the page that represents consensus among the editors involved. The best practice at this time is to stop editing the page and to discuss the disagreements, issues, and concerns at-hand with the other editors involved in the dispute. Wikipedia provides a page that helps to detail how this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard, or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.
Continuing to engage in further edit warring behavior can result in being blocked from editing Wikipedia—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your demeanor, behavior, or conduct indicate that you intend to continue repeatedly making reverts to the page.
As I opened discussion in the article, please participate in it. Camilasdandelions (talk!) 00:18, 28 September 2025 (UTC)
