Information icon Hello, I'm Janan2025. I noticed that you recently removed content from Outline of atheism without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. @Janan2025 Information as to what types of atheism there are is better covered in the types of atheism section, there is no reason to provide a worse and inconcise version of that explanation in the lead WP:LEAD, that there are different types of atheism is all that can concisely be conveyed. ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. Question about the article "Russo-Ukrainian war"

Hello ! I saw your work in the edits made on "FEB/08/2026" at "07:45 UTC" and "07:49 UTC". Do you know if the trimmed parts are present in others articles ? Anatole-berthe (talk) 12:24, 8 February 2026 (UTC)

No but I found this article: North Korean involvement in the Russo-Ukrainian war (2022–present) Cognsci (talk) 22:31, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
Thanks you for your answer ! Anatole-berthe (talk) 19:49, 9 February 2026 (UTC)

February 2026

I've reverted your edit here. I disagree sharply with the reasoning. If you feel strongly about your evaluation of GameStop, especially pre-squeeze, please take the article to AfD, wherein we and the broader community can discuss what to do with the article. Iseult Δx talk to me 08:39, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Following up on this - Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/GameStop (2nd nomination) this was a very poorly conceived deletion nomination. Please be sure to re-evaluate your understanding of Wikipedia's notability standards, and WP:AFD process, as this was way off-base. It doesn't even show a good understanding of the subject itself, as "small American retailer" is not really a very accurate starting point for describing the subject. (Full disclosure, I am not a fan of the chain, so this does not come from a defensive place either.) Please make sure you put more care into future nominations. Thank you. Sergecross73 msg me 15:27, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
I disagree I believe my nomination was well informed by notability standards and the AFD process, how exactly is "small american retailer" not an accurate description? Cognsci (talk) 15:59, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
Now you are trolling. A retailer who, at their peak, had over 6,000 locations is not "small" by any stretch of the imagination. Even now, I believe they remain the largest game-specific retail chain in the world. (Some sources claim that anyhow.) No reasonable person who wasn't trolling could see all that and think "small American retailer" was a useful and honest description. ApLundell (talk) 16:17, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
"by any stretch of the imagination." You don't have to imagine you can just look at other american retailers, "(Some sources claim that anyhow.)" so this is what you're accusing me of trolling over? Over sources you won't even provide? Cognsci (talk) 16:37, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
Good morning! I see that you’ve had this on your to-do list on your user page for some time, so I’ll bite.
You’re conflating revenue with size and reach, for one; you’re also making the implicit assertion that any chain not in the top 100 is small. Hot Dog on a Stick, for example, obviously passes notability even though it doesn’t have many locations and less revenue than current GameStop takes in a quarter. (There’s also a bit of an improper comparison here—we’re comparing 2025 data to GameStop’s heyday in the late 2000s.)
You got a lot of SKs and comments without further elaboration because it’s reasonable, given the state of GS coverage and the company itself back then, to assume the AfD to be a troll nom. We remember the days when people lined up at midnight for game releases (Steam wasn’t a thing) (anecdotal). It’s hard, 15 years after the fact, to find coverage of popularity; these are fundamentally community interest stories for local news (good luck to them).
GS has traded on the NYSE for many years. The non-squeeze sourcing is more than sufficient for notability. I appreciate your willingness to be bold, but please be more thorough next time. The only possibility that I thought of last night is that you don’t know the place GS used to hold owing to youth. Is that the case? Iseult Δx talk to me 18:51, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
I wasn't making an argument about notability in that comment, just shooing away @ApLundell's incredulity about my description of GameStop. Cognsci (talk) 19:51, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
You are clearly mistaken, and the community strongly supports what I'm saying. You've received 6 "speedy keep" stances in the opening hours, and no delete stances. People quickly supplied reliable source coverage. Coverage that should have been very easy to find had you put any effort into a WP:BEFORE search. Its probably going to WP:SNOW close before the day ends at this rate. You shouldn't be defending this. Your best case scenario was admitting not knowing about concepts like BEFORE or WP:NOTCLEANUP. Sergecross73 msg me 16:25, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
"Your best case scenario was admitting not knowing about concepts like BEFORE or WP:NOTCLEANUP." and why is that? sorry misread that Cognsci (talk) 17:06, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
