Revdel
Hi, young Fritter. I see you revdel'd the edit in Dot's archive. Perhaps I should have done that when I reverted — I'm afraid I just assumed it was all made up. I still think so, but one revdel too many is certainly better than one too few. Happy new year! Bishonen | tålk 09:59, 8 January 2026 (UTC).
Incorrect usage of Template:uw-botuhblock
The following accounts don't have the word "bot" in the usernames, but were blocked for this incorrect reason. As far as I can tell, each of these was a misclick in Twinkle:

I've been an admin for a long time.
But, sadly, my life circumstance is such that I do not have as much time for adminning as once I had. And I don't want to be the sort that clings (lovingly? nostalgically?) to adminship as though it were a favorite worn out sweater that hangs in the closet, no longer used. I am therefore putting my dessysop request in with the bureaucrats. It's time to let go. I thank all those I've worked with who have made this a rewarding experience. I'll be around occasionally, but not as much as I would like. Best, -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 12:14, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
- I'm really sorry to see you hand in your bit. Hopefully handing it in means you have much less nonsense to deal with. Here's to a (slightly) simpler life, and hopefully more happiness! --Yamla (talk) 12:33, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

- It takes a great deal of strength and wisdom to relinquish a role. I offer you heartfelt congratulations on having both.

- Your template has long held a spot on my userpage for ease of access, so when I went to investigate the redlink, my heart sank to see your decision to relinquish the mop. To say that your editing approach, calm-headed philosophy, and desire to help users has acted as a North Star to me (and others) would be an understatement. I just hope you know I've always appreciated your contributions, with and without the bit, and your absence will be dearly missed across the project. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours, whatever they may be. Bobby Cohn 🍁 (talk) 00:18, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

- I was just looking up a former admin to see the circumstances for their departure and was shocked to see your name listed! I don't know how Wikipedia can function without you review unblock online requests. Even if you can't offer full-time support, helping out for a few hours a week would be welcome. I hope you miss us and come back. No black cloud over your return! Take care and don't enjoy retirement too much because I want you to become bored and pick up your mop again. ;-) Liz Read! It's been a pleasure. I hope to see you again and that our paths once again cross & that I see you around from time to time. We'll be here should you get bored and want the mop back. - Hello Deepfriedokra, I just came across your 'no longer an admin' signature from the comment you left at that AARV thread. I wanted to say, it's sad to see another long-time, hard-working admin quit the mop! ;(

Hi @Deepfriedokra,
You might want to reconsider your deletion of this page. It appears you have linked to it on many different blocked users' talk pages, which may make it unclear to those editors why you have linked the page there. thetechie@enwiki:~$ she/they | talk 16:57, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
