Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Billy Mann has been reverted.
Your edit here to Billy Mann was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline (see also this list of frequently-discussed sources). The reference(s) you added or changed (https://jessica-simpson.fandom.com/wiki/Billy_Mann) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Find a Grave? Seriously, no. This is a deprecated source.

No press releases may be used as references, not any type of announcement nor PR piece. If you have to lose the fact they assert then please lose that fact.

Please read WP:BACKWARDS, because ei thin you have written the draft and then striven to find references to suit. We want thje reverse of that process, please

Help me!

Please help me with... One of my sources, www.ecampusnews.com, is not explicitly banned. However, I'm curious if articles listed on that site would be considered user-submitted, self-published, promotional, or PR based. Please advise. DegreeDriven (talk) 18:22, 11 September 2025 (UTC)

I am by no means an expert but have had some experience in citing sources. I think the answer to your question is "it depends." While trying to learn how to be a better contributor, I stumbled on WP:Source assessment and WP:BACKWARD that may be helpful. Looking forward the input from more experienced contributors. Antmaker (talk) 20:30, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
I would actually lean slightly more towards the "not reliable" side of things. Yes, there is an "editorial director", but from all of their verbiage and language it sounds much more like they curate content rather than actually write content; in other words, anyone can submit anything, and there isn't a clear guideline as to what will or won't pass. I think the best thing to do if you are truly concerned about using it as a source is to ask at WP:RSN. In the meantime, though, I would suggest finding other sources of information. Primefac (talk) 20:39, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
Yes, I agree. I'll certainly find other sources of information and build the article around that. DegreeDriven (talk) 13:34, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for your response. I found WP:BACKWARD to be quite helpful. DegreeDriven (talk) 13:33, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Penn Foster (September 16)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by RangersRus was:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Penn Foster (December 7)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
There already is a disambiguation page Penn Foster which lists three organizations within the Penn Foster group. Please rework this draft so that it can be incorporated into the current structure. If you have questions about how to do this, please request advice at the Teahouse.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
