If I have deleted your article and you would like to know why, please first have a look at the following Wikipedia policies and guidelines:

If you have come to my page to complain that I put your article in draft because it doesn't have any sources,
a better use of your time would be to add a source.

Caution PLEASE NOTE
If none of these pages addresses your concerns you can
leave me a note

Source

Multiple copies of source which can not be published: SSN card, Swiss passport, US passport, Birth certificate. How shall I address?

Castalia1100 (talk) 04:04, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

It would have to be something already published. Otherwise, if you think the current source is not appropriate, you can remove the birthdate altogether. ... discospinster talk 04:08, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

State-sponsored sources

You are restoring the source of a state-paid author. I have reverted your revert; please do not do so again. ~2026-63994-6 (talk) 04:16, 30 January 2026 (UTC)

What state is he paid by? ... discospinster talk 04:17, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
Azerbaijan. Do you need more evidence? The paragraph in the article is literally supported with other sourcing already. Why waste your time on removing something that (i) substantiates nothing and (ii) is non-citable material? ~2026-63994-6 (talk) 04:57, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
Yes, more evidence would be needed to remove a relevant, reliable source. ... discospinster talk 17:52, 30 January 2026 (UTC)

My bad with the undo

Hey, I was quick to undo your revision on Pakistani cricket team in India in 2004–05 my bad. I meant to undo my own change, but didn’t realize you had already fixed it, so I ended up undoing yours again haha. NanoSmug (talk) 02:37, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

That's OK, it happens sometimes. ... discospinster talk 02:38, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

Full protection

Um, really bad form to make controversial edits to a full-protected article, as you did in Melania (film), without a good reason in the edit summary, and without discussion, of which there have been three attempts to start discussion, all ignored by those involved in the edit war. I'll leave it up to your conscience whether you want to revert yourself. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 03:04, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

You were the one who froze it at the highly contested version for which there was no consensus that failed to respect WP:ONUS on a highly contentious topic which could cause political controversy where the only users had supported this version were new editors who had engaged in edit warring. I fully support Discospinster's decision to revert and urge them not to undo the edit. Hemiauchenia (talk) 03:18, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
There is no consensus either way, but there are multiple sections on the talk page arguing in favor of using the term, complete with sources cited, with no rebuttals, only reverting in the history. That is why the article was protected. Now, finally, there is an RFC on the matter. As to complaining about the version protected, that's bogus; see m:The Wrong Version. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 03:30, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
It's really bad form to claim that a film is propaganda in the first sentence without clarifying who is calling it that. Classic WP:NPOV violation. ... discospinster talk 23:41, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
Considering ample precedent in other articles (see 2000 Mules for example), and sources that were cited, I think you erred. In any case, you can participate in the ongoing RFC if you want. My protection was valid regardless of the existence or absence of that word in the lead, and because that word was the contentious issue being edit-warred about with multiple discussions supporting it having been started on the talk page, your continuation of that edit war after full protection wasn't a great administrative decision on your part. m:The Wrong Version isn't an excuse. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 23:49, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
The 2000 Mules article that you cite as a precedent has several citations in the lead whereas the version that I reverted had no citations at all. I stand by my actions as an editor and as an administrator. ... discospinster talk 00:41, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
Had you checked prior revisions and the talk page, you would have seen plenty of citations as well as at least two attempts at discussion that were dismissed out of hand based on the "newbie" status of the editors making their case. I didn't revert you because the article with or without that word is perfectly fine, and I don't override other admin actions anyway. However, I felt, rightly or wrongly, that you didn't perform due diligence when electing to make a controversial edit in a full-protected article without any discussion. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 06:13, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
As you can see above, the edit I reverted was controversial, had no citations, and no edit summary. It's not my job to go searching for context when the editor had no intentions of providing any. ... discospinster talk 15:49, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
Certainly, that's your prerogative. Me, I usually look at what's been going on in the contribution history and talk page before I take any administrative action. Admittedly that edit you reverted slipped in while I had to protection dialog page open, but either version was acceptable due to sourcing, even if there were no sources cited for that specific edit. As an administrator I do regard it as my job to look for context before I take action. To each his own. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 16:49, 4 February 2026 (UTC)

Public Citizen

Hi, there is a very persistent IP at Public Citizen re-adding the same material that we have both recently removed. Can you protect the page, or should I make a request at WP:RFPP? Thanks. Marquardtika (talk) 19:31, 5 February 2026 (UTC)

I think RFPP would be a good idea, to get another set of eyes on it. ... discospinster talk 02:40, 6 February 2026 (UTC)

Social Network

This is Neil Kellerhouse. I'm the Designer of both posters. What you keep correcting is not, correct... What I am posting is the correct 'theatrical poster'. Please leave as is. Thank you so much... Nkellerhouse (talk) 23:45, 11 February 2026 (UTC)

The image you are trying to add is currently nominated for deletion. Until that is resolved, it can't be on the Wikipedia article. ... discospinster talk 01:18, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

Social Network page

Please understand this is the actual designer (me Neil Kellerhouse), that designed the poster you're correcting as the original theatrical release, it is not. I'm correcting your mistake. Thank you. Nkellerhouse (talk) 03:30, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

That does not change the fact that the image can't be added to the article without documented permission. ... discospinster talk 04:32, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

Lezgin language

Hi, could you please clarify the reason why my edit was reverted? I would appreciate understanding what exactly was considered problematic. For context, the Lezgin language like many other languages in the Dagestan, used an Arabic based script from the early 19th century until 1928. My edit was intended to reflect this historical fact. Thanks for your attention. I’m looking forward to your reply. ZHUWANDI (talk) 21:24, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

You made significant, uncited changes to the article (including changing the name of the language itself) without specifying a reason in the edit summary. ... discospinster talk 22:06, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
Thanks for explaining. Would you be okay if I add the information again, this time with solid sources and a clear edit summary? If there’s anything specific I should keep in mind, please let me know. ZHUWANDI (talk) 13:19, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
Yes, sources and and edit summary would help. Even better would be to explain on the article's talk page why you are making these changes. But also, the name of the language in the article should be consistent with the title. If you think it should be moved you can request it at WP:MOVEREQ. ... discospinster talk 17:52, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

Your help

Hi there. I saw you at "Just want an admin?" at ANI (I first contacted another admin listed, but they were not available). I have asked User:Oncamera to revert this edit where they seem to be soliciting other editors to monitor my edits. I asked them to revert their edit and they refused (see User talk:Ponyo#Your help). I've had my share of being followed on Wikipedia and don't need more of it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! Magnolia677 (talk) 00:53, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

To be honest I'm not sure of the protocol in this kind of situation. I don't think I can force anyone to revert their edit or remove it myself unless it violates some sort of policy. Perhaps you could reply to the comment on the project page, and if there is still a dispute you could try WP:THIRDOPINION to get someone else's input. ... discospinster talk 00:58, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

Eileen Gu

Why do you insist adding information by a Washington based group, which is financed by the CIA affiliated NED? Why are you removing the context of what this group is? Your additions fail WP:RS. 8ZeitundZeit8 (talk) 18:54, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

Because the details about the group have nothing to do with Eileen Gu, unless you are suggesting that she is involved with the CIA or something. ... discospinster talk 18:55, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

I'm definitely not suggesting that. You're adding opinions of group that is CIA affiliated. You should delete your additions by yourself. It's ridiculous that an editor with 20 years of experience is adding this piece of propaganda and wants to hide the context. 8ZeitundZeit8 (talk) 19:04, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

Again, nothing to do with Eileen Gu. If someone wants to know more information about the group they can click the wikilink and read the article. ... discospinster talk 19:05, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

Reversion of changes to Fiona Corke

The personal details removed (where she grew up, and skin cancer) are not relevant to the subject's work as an actor. Why are these details more important than the subject's family connections which have been deleted. The proposed deletions do not diminish a reader's knowledge of the subject's work, the reason for the WP page, and are the express wish of the subject. Peter.Corke (talk) 04:24, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

She's spoken about her hometown and diagnosis publicly in relation to her career, so it's not unreasonable to mention them in the article. As for family connections, I did not delete any of that so I don't know what the context it. ... discospinster talk 17:51, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

Carisa Hendrix pronouns

BTW there was already a source for Hendrix's pronouns as someone had already edited it, but transphobic vandalism changed their pronouns back (while missing some grammar that you didn't bother to fix either, "she are" is not grammatically correct in case you weren't aware) but the source was still cited after their pronouns. I added a citation for their website so if you change it back again it's just pure transphobia. Thanks! Riverraleigh (talk) 08:59, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
