Dunedin, FL

I represent the Dunedin History Museum and the city historian. The reference link(s) to the first land grant and the incorporation of the city is from an old incorrect city of Dunedin page. The dates 1852 and 1925 are incorrect for the first land grant and the founding of the city. Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.96.115.241 (talkcontribs) 15:10 4 August 2021 (UTC)

In fact that editor has repeatedly refused to advise me of what the problem is. I'm surprised to hear that editor is an experienced editor as I had not seen need to check. Right off attempting to inject FRINGE political bias and going on to repeatedly demand I debate positions I don't hold is strange for an experienced editor. I have said several times that we can remove and change any parts of my added text and asked how he wants to do that: He still refuses to reply instead insisting on these debates. List of lynching victims in the United States

he technically got beaten and stabbed to death by a crowd before he could be apprehended , some consider it lynching Ivanhardybirt (talk) 10:33, 24 March 2026 (UTC)

@Ivanhardybirt: Find a reliable source that calls it a lynching. Donald Albury 11:47, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
unfortunately there is none, until one says there is , I will not re-add it to the page , Mr. Albury Ivanhardybirt (talk) 12:55, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
is the way Wikipedia works (or, at least, how it is supposed to work). See Talk:List of lynching victims in the United States#Ahmaud Arbery: lynching or not? for the latest of several discussions on whether the killing/lynching of Ahmaud Arbery should remain on the list. A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Thank you for being such great admins for this site! (Talk) PHLOGISTON ENTHUSIAST 17:40, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
Thank you! Donald Albury 17:46, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
I am very, very sorry. I was using a mass message script to give out barnstars to all the admins as tokens of appreciation but midway I was informed it was a bad idea. I am so sorry and figured it only appropriate to inform those affected. (Talk) PHLOGISTON ENTHUSIAST 18:37, 26 March 2026 (UTC)

Hi, Donald, how are you? So, I've declined a G12 nomination for this (not seeing where you were notified of that?), and instead blanked it and listed it here for clean-up or rewrite (there are instructions on how to do that in the blanking template). I won't ask why you ever thought it a good plan to use an artificial stupidity engine to write that page when you could have done it so much better yourself, or why checking the AI slop for copyvio was not the very first thing you did with it, but do have to ask you this: are there other pages you generated in the same way? If so, would you kindly list them here so that they can be checked for similar problems? Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 12:44, 2 April 2026 (UTC)
No, there are not. I was working on another draft, but have deleted it. I will point out that Claude did not invent sources or content, but I made the mistake of not paying attention to how much it copied from the sources. In any case, I will now restrict my use of Claude to finding sources, which it is good at. Someone might as well delete the Zamia oligodonta article as I will be starting from scratch on a new version of the article. Donald Albury 15:34, 2 April 2026 (UTC)
