Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to the topics of Kurds and Kurdistan, broadly construed, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the template.

- @Dyzca23 You've violated WP:GS/KURD again. please read WP:GS/KURD.. Here's what it says; ::A community discussion at the administrators' noticeboard has placed all pages with content related to Kurds and Kurdistan, broadly interpreted, under the extended confirmed restriction, effective 03:50, 3 January 2023 (UTC). ::Extended confirmed restriction: only extended-confirmed editors may make edits related to the topic area, subject to the following provisions: ::The restriction applies to all edits and pages related to the topic area, broadly construed, with the following exceptions: ::Non-extended-confirmed editors may use the "Talk:" namespace to post constructive comments and make edit requests related to articles within the topic area, provided they are not disruptive. Should disruption occur on "Talk:" pages, administrators may take enforcement actions described in "B" or "C" below. However, non-extended-confirmed editors may not make edits to internal project discussions related to the topic area, even within the "Talk:" namespace. Internal project discussions include, but are not limited to, AfDs, WikiProjects, RfCs, RMs, and noticeboard discussions. ::Non-extended-confirmed editors may not create new articles, but administrators may exercise discretion when deciding how to enforce this remedy on article creations. Deletion of new articles created by non-extended-confirmed editors is permitted but not required. R3YBOl (🌲) 14:10, 24 January 2026 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Petrosism (January 26)

- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Petrosism and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, or have experienced any untoward behavior associated with this submission, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
- it was stated in the article, that it isn’t an official term, but rather an term used a lot on TikTok and social media by nationalists. I asked ChatGPT to fix my grammar in the text, so yes you could say I used ai. And those sources contribute to the meaning of petrosism, which is just extreme nationalism. Contentious topics alert: Assyrian/Chaldean/Aramean/Syriac topics
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date. You have shown interest in Assyrian, Chaldean, Aramean, and Syriac identity, culture, and politics. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic. For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. |

If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing blocks (specifically this section) before appealing. Place the following on your talk page: . If you intend to appeal on the arbitration enforcement noticeboard, I suggest you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template on your talk page so it can be copied over easily. You may also appeal directly to me (by email), before or instead of appealing on your talk page.
- Alright my bad, understood, it wont happen again, ill cya when the blocks over, have a nice day later. Dyzca23 (talk) 00:55, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
Reminder to administrators: In May 2014, ArbCom adopted the following procedure instructing administrators regarding Arbitration Enforcement blocks: "No administrator may modify a sanction placed by another administrator without: (1) the explicit prior affirmative consent of the enforcing administrator; or (2) prior affirmative agreement for the modification at (a) AE or (b) AN or (c) ARCA (see "Important notes"). Administrators modifying sanctions out of process may at the discretion of the committee be desysopped."
Speedy deletion of Ashitha Revolt

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
The page Ashitha Revolt has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. signed, Rosguill talk 20:06, 23 February 2026 (UTC)

I’m not a meat/sock puppet of that etcnoel guy, if I’m gonna be honest I found Ashitha revolt on a random wiki site and copied the code thought I would get away with it, and it was probably a mistake what I did, but I can assure you in everyday possible I’m not a sockpuppet, I have no connections to your guy whatsoever. Closing duplicate request. asilvering (talk) 06:43, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
If true, this is also completely unacceptable behavior in a contentious topic, and I see no route to being unblocked without, at minimum, accepting a topic ban from WP:GS/ACAS. Another admin will review this request. signed, Rosguill talk 20:41, 23 February 2026 (UTC)

Notes:
- In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
- Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:
{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I will accept topic ban such as Assyrian-Chaldean-Aramean-Syriac, and I do NOT know etcnoel or have any connections to him as I stated, I’m just very interested in Assyrian history, and I’ll take a topicbans from whatever you’d like. If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

- A topic ban from WP:GS/ACAS would mean that you couldn't write about (or even mention) Assyrian history anymore. Just want to make sure you understand what you're agreeing to here. -- asilvering (talk) 06:50, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
