Redirects

Please only add people with their own article to lists of people. You have been adding redirects. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 19:07, 25 December 2025 (UTC)

Weren't the people I added already notable enough to have their own article though? Electron230 (talk) 22:21, 25 December 2025 (UTC)
Maybe, maybe not, but right now they are just redirects. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:32, 25 December 2025 (UTC)
What's the problem with redirects? Electron230 (talk) 02:43, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
Please don't edit war over this, as you have at List of people from California. If the person was notable, they would have their own article. Please discuss before reverting again. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:50, 27 December 2025 (UTC)
For most of the redirects I added it wasn't the person that was notable, but rather their disappearance Electron230 (talk) 02:48, 28 December 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to List of people from Chicago appears to have added a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at São Francisco de Assis, Rio Grande do Sul, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. signed, Kvinnen (talk) 16:32, 31 December 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for your work on this article. Unfortunately, it is not yet ready for main space. Please add sources and establish notability as per WP:GNG. I will be moving it to draft. Please feel free to republish once it meets the above criteria. Thanks and have a great day!
