Habitable Exoplanets Page
Hi there, new Wikipedia user here! Not quite sure if this is the right place to ask, but I figured I'd give it a go regardless I was checking out the Habitable exoplanet page on Wikipedia that you had started, and on that page you had listed Kepler-1632 b as a habitable exoplanet. Could you let me know what your source for that was, because I went on a bit of a hunt to find it and came up pretty empty on sources for the planet. Thanks for your help! - Hello. Welcome to Wikipedia. Kepler-1632 b doesn't seem to be considered potentially habitable anymore according to PHL at Arecibo.

Magnetic Sail - History of Concept
Hi,
Regarding your edits on June 5 to Magnetic sail#History of concept
Not sure if what Friedman defined as "solar sailing" includes using the solar wind for magnetic or electric sails. That 1988 book is out of print, and a used copy was $54 on Amazon. Does the book describe using a magnetic field to deflect charged particles in the solar wind? That is the basic definition of a magnetic sail. If that book states this fact then it was in fact prior to Zubrin, but is an arcane reference and the citation is incomplete. Please fix the citation or else it will likely be deleted by an editor.
I looked at this further on 7/10 on I looked into this a luttle further on 7/10 at https://www.google.com/books/edition/Starsailing/iQqnAAAAIAAJ?hl=en&kptab=editions&gbpv=1&bsq=%22Solar%20wind%22 that has a searchable version of the Friedman citation. I searched on "solar wind" and found the following quote on page 17:
"The solar wind plays no part in solar sailing; it's important to understand this from the start. The solar sail operates on sunlight pressure --"
Based upon this citation I disagree with the addition of all the text you inserted. I think the proper place for a summary and citation of the 1988 Friedman book is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_sail. If you can write the summary sentence(s) I can help you make the citation conform to Wikipedia guidelines. I see that you also made an improper citation in the Bussard Ramjet article.
I also disagree with your deletion of the text summarizing the book by Dana Andrews. I believe that many sources cite Andrews/Zubrin as the first to use the term "magnetic sail."
Also, I think that the Davidson reference you added to the "Sharkfin Magnetic Sail" should be deleted - it is one of many papers that summarize Zubrin and not the most comprehensive; for example, the following is a much better summary: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/329103132_Review_of_Solar_Magnetic_Sailing_Configurations_for_Space_Travel
,which is already cited in the article.
In my opinion, adding a summary of the Sharkfin magnetic sail as another topic in the section Magnetic sail#Proposed magnetic sail systems would be the appropriate place for a reference to include a short summary of Davidson with the citation.
If I don't hear back from you in a few weeks, I will make the above changes - delete Friedman, restore Anrews summary, add sentence for Sharkfin and move Davidson citation there.
Thanks!

- Hi,
- Had not seen a response from you, so I had to manually undo the changes you made. Please reply to this Talk page if you disagree.
- Still reading Sharkfin paper - did not find any citations supporting or refuting Davidson in an initial search, but is on my list of things to do for Magnetic Sail page.
- Thanks. Dmcdysan (talk) 21:57, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

Unfortunately, there are no other designations of this star except the second Gaia data release designation, which isn't any better. Orangefanta120 (talk) 23:10, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
- I feel it is a very interesting star system but i think we should also make an article on the respective star cluster also and your recently made article M51-ULS-1 is very good @Orangefanta120 Abdullah1099 (talk) 07:02, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
I checked and wasn't able to find either. Astropedian (talk) 20:16, 30 January 2026 (UTC)

I am doubting it's notability but i think the planetary system part might make the article notable, i just rescued it from deletion other information might get from it's creator. Abdullah1099 (talk) 16:29, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
