What is the actual configuration of the wye for the Wellcox Spur? I'm thinking that you may be trying to show unnecessary detail with , and the end result is unclear. Useddenim (talk) 21:48, 19 May 2025 (UTC)

@Useddenim Thanks for reaching out. I altered the wye as I did in efforts to show that the active sections of the mainline and the "branch" of the wye that joins the mainline to south both end at the junction, as I thought that original layout was inconsistent with the other active section and therefore could be potentially misleading. That said, if such is in fact unnecessary detail, feel free to revert my changes to the junction. As for the MP 0.0, I think it was originally meant to denote the starting point of the Welcox Spur at the wye, however which all the changes to the curvature of the spur, I moved it to its' present location a while back, as it previously wasn't aligned with the other mileposts on the line, and I think its' previous position is now taken up by another feature, however I (regrettably) can't recall for certain where that was. I am open to ideas on an alternate location for MP 0.0 if one is desired, however the bridge over Hwy 1 is located right adjacent to the wye, so it's milepost is virtually identical. @Fhsig13: Here's an alternate version that opens up the wye, but even looking at satellite photos I can't tell where the active track ends. Are there parts of either the main line or the southeast leg used as sidings? Useddenim (talk) 12:34, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

@Useddenim I think that opening up the wye would definitely help to clarify things, especially if the line endings are overlaid. As far as I know, neither the Southern Railway of Vancouver Island, nor the Island Corridor Foundation have explicitly stated where the active tracks end, however the only remaining trains run from the Seaspan ferry to the the siding just past the Superior Propane spur they service and back, so logic would dictate that nothing south of the wye is active, nor would the wye's southern connector branch be active either. @Fhsig13: Then it's fine as is now: line-end symbols aren't typically used when one leg of a junction is out of use, but only on what would otherwise be a through line. Useddenim (talk) 00:27, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

@Fhsig13: When I said "through line" I meant something line  (ENDExe), where there is no branching off. No end mark is needed for  (xABZgl) because an active line runs continuously from one edge to another. Useddenim (talk) 12:19, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

@GoodDay Multiple sources have reported that Head Coach Adam Foote annouced Hronek as a permanent member of the Canucks leadership group, including https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/canucks-reveal-new-alternate-captain-hughes-trade, although they don't cite the actual interview, which I am still trying to track down.
