Hi Folkezoft. Thank you for your work on Van Lier (shoe company). Another editor, Scope creep, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Hi I reviewed your article. New article require a minumum of three refs. Don't put an article in mainspace with a single references, or it will need to go to draft. I added a second sourced. Its not cool.

CS1 error on The Diary of Manipur

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page The Diary of Manipur, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A generic name error. References show this error when author or editor name parameters use place-holder names. Please edit the article to include the source's actual author or editor name. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 10:37, 8 February 2026 (UTC)

Tagging bare URLs in drafts

I appreciate the effort, but I don't know that this is at all worth it, since pages in draftspace are allowed to be rough and unfinished. The existence of bare URLs in that namespace would only be of concern once the draft is proposed to be moved to mainspace. Some drafts contain URLs to sources unusable in mainspace at all, but kept in the draft as pointers to information that might be confirmed in better sources. BD2412 T 18:45, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

Djflem (talk) 14:45, 3 March 2026 (UTC)

Hi @Djflem, I thought refill didn't work on bare URLs that aren't HTML like PDFs or .txt files, has that changed? Folkezoft (talk) 18:16, 3 March 2026 (UTC)

Stale drafts

Hello, Folkezoft,

I hope you are well. I've been noticing that you are making some minor edits to drafts that are about to become "stale" and be deleted. I do not know if this is intentional on your part or you are just randomly picking drafts to work on. Although I appreciate your enthusiasm, unless you are going to work on the draft and get it up to shape so that it can be submitted to WP:AFC and hopefully be accepted into main space, I think your time might be better spent on work that is more promising. Stale drafts can always be restored if the original content creator wants to come back and work on them so it's not like they are lost forever. And while that doesn't happen often, it does happen, sometimes even years later, a draft will be recovered and find its way into main space.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for the time you put into the project and I hope you find the work interesting and satisfying. Liz Read! Talk! 21:20, 22 February 2026 (UTC)

Still Life with Flag (1954) moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Still Life with Flag (1954). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and There do seem to be sources that verify this painting exists, however the one used in this article does not relate to this painting at all, nor claim it was her last work.. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Orange sticker (talk) 10:47, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

Your addition of "AI-retrieved source" to so many articles

@Folkezoft: Hi! I was a bit confused by why you were adding Template:AI-retrieved source to so many articles... but then I looked at one and saw the "utm=chatgpt.com" at the end of two sources in an article on my watch list. I had never noticed this before as I'd never edited that particular section. So I just wanted to say THANK YOU for doing this work! It's good to have people validate the links - and I did so for the two you flagged. (Separately, I personally find it sloppy for some previous editor to have left the utm data on the URL. I always remove that from links I insert.) - Dyork (talk) 15:19, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

@Folkezoft stop You appear to be making automated edits at a very high rate in violation of WP:BOTPOL. It looks like you've added the template to ~1000 pages since yesterday. Please submit a WP:BRFA before continuing. --Ahecht (TALK

@Ahecht, I'm out of time for a bit to follow up much more on this, but if this is continuing, this is maybe a WP:ANI issue. Folkezoft has been warned multiple times on their talk page at least four times now about this kind of behavior with semi-automated edits, so if it's continuing, then it's likely needing admin intervention or revocation of permissions. KoA (talk) 17:42, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
@KoA: I believe I was the first to allude to ANI in one of the discussions above. To be fair the main issue back then was Folkezoft making WP:COSMETIC edits. This appears to be no longer be the case. I don't think that tagging thousands of references is useful, but it's not the same issue as before so not exactly evidence of long-term AWB abuse. --not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 09:42, 18 March 2026 (UTC)

Brookline High School

Hi. I just wanted to let you know my edit to Brookline High School was not AI generated, and all sources were found manually. 77eagle (talk) 18:21, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

@77eagle: Your edit introduced a source with tracking data that proves the source was found by ChatGPT. That is not an issue by itself, using AI for research and finding sources is allowed. If you reviewed the content of the source and only edited the page based on information you retrieved (without blindly following the AI's interpretation of the source), then there is no issue whatsoever. I reviewed the source and it confirms what you added to the article in that edit. --not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 18:34, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
Hi,
I’m absolutely honest when I tell you I did not use ChatGPT for any part of the edit. Using AI for sourcing contrasts with my personal philosophy. I don’t know if the data told you otherwise. 77eagle (talk) 20:14, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
Sorry. I was trying to explain the rules around using AI just in case of a misunderstanding or something. The reason for the tag was because the URL has a ?utm_source=chatgpt.com attached to the end of it. Perhaps you copied a link from somewhere which had it sourced to ChatGPT? --not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 20:18, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
That’s odd. Maybe the link I found online originated from there. 77eagle (talk) 10:42, 28 March 2026 (UTC)

Tagging bare URLs in my draft page

@Folkezoft: Hi, thanks for your edits but please note that the page is still in draft form, not accessible to the public, and with many things still effectively just notes, so I'd suggest it would only matter once it gets published or is submitted for review.
