License tagging for Image:Walkden w249001a.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Walkden w249001a.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:12, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Walkden Population
Hi! Thanks for the contact! It seems you're really keen on the Wikipedia project and demonstrating prudence and committment which is great!
With regards to the Greater Manchester Urban Area, I made a mistake sorry. I used the 2001 census results, though that table uses the 2005 amended version, so you were right to question this! I've since reverted this back to your version.
If there are any other ways in which I can help you're time contributing to Wikipedia and improving articles, please feel free to get in touch, or ask any questions. Jhamez84 22:30, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Manchester and the 3RR
Hello GRB1972, and thanks for the contact.
Manchester has received a great amount of disruption of late - particularly from one individual whom I wholly share your concerns about. It's been difficult to pin-point and collate all of his edits due to his multiple IP addresses.
He's been blocked indefinately once for sockpuppetry, and other disruptive editting. He's using Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, which is (unfortunately) allowed on Wikipedia.
That he's "gaming the system" on cleverly timed reverts does not stop him from recieveing a warning or block - this can still be reported to admins, even if he uses two or more IP addresses to do his work.
Please beleve me when I say that I'd be more than happy to assist you with "managing him off wikipedia" asap. What we need to do is collect information about this user - perhaps on a sandbox page. Let me know if you have any more questions. Hope that helps, Jza84 00:13, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for January 17
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Stuart Broad, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wanderers. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
