Editing others' talk page comments

I’m sure you meant well, but please review Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines#Editing others' comments for when it is appropriate to remove other editors’ comments. Someone being stupid (in your or my opinion) is not the same as someone being off-topic or disruptive.  HTGS (talk) 04:01, 11 November 2025 (UTC)

I apologize. I definitely could have handled that better. I'm not even sure why I removed it in the first place. GSK (talkedits) 12:49, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
No worries. I gotta say, when I look at my watchlist for these “temporary users” they’re definitely more often disruptive than constructive, so I totally understand the reactive impulse. It even feels more true than it was for IP users, but maybe that’s just in my head…  HTGS (talk) 18:02, 11 November 2025 (UTC)

Request for article review

Hey, I saw you made some edits on Y Combinator page and wondered if you would be kind enough to review and possibly accept my draft Draft:South_Park_Commons. Thanks! Saphelion (talk) 14:03, 25 November 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for reaching out, but I'm going to respectfully decline as article review is not something I take part in and have little to no working knowledge of. I wish you the best of luck though! GSK (talkedits) 14:14, 25 November 2025 (UTC)

Adventure

Where can we say that Back to the Future is an adventure film?

Hollowdame (talk) 14:26, 3 December 2025 (UTC)

It's already acknowledged as an adventure film at the bottom of the modern reception section, as well as in the categories for the page. GSK (talkedits) 14:37, 3 December 2025 (UTC)

Regarding a revert you made

This edit, while not formatted entirely correctly, was not disruptive. May I ask your reason for reverting it? JJPMaster (she/they) 15:07, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

I didn't feel the Richard Nixon bit was relevant, and there doesn't need to be that much detail added to what is supposed to be only a summary of the character's actions in that film. I agree that it wasn't disruptive. I just didn't believe the information was necessary. GSK (talkedits) 15:54, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2026 March 9#9:41 AM

I think it's pretty self-explanatory if I had to be honest. However, I want to tell the truth:

The first iPhone was presented in 2007 by Steve Jobs at Macworld 2007, and supposedly planned at 9:41 AM, however when the iPhone appeared, it showed 9:42 AM, which meant that specific time had to stay in Apple ads for the time. However, when the first iPad was presented in 2010, it showed 9:41 AM for real, and it stayed in Apple ads.

So if you have ever used an iPhone you probably saw it.

In the Apple Watch, a different time is shown: 10:09 AM. This is a tradition from other watch companies like Rolex which adjust the time to 10:10 AM for visibility of the brand name.

Because I found out the sources were from when the iPhone 16 was presented, it would be a GOOOOOOOOOOOOD idea to see which of these sources can fit in:

I'm aware of the significance of 9:41 AM. However, I don't think you're quite understanding the reason I opened the RfD to begin with. I don't really care that it has coverage in news sources. That is not at all my concern. Once again, my primary concern is it is EXTREMELY UNLIKELY that someone will be trying to get to the iPhone article by entering 9:41 AM in the search bar. I will not repeat myself again. GSK (talkedits) 01:15, 9 March 2026 (UTC)
I already get it. - SimpleObjects-9ei (talk) 01:19, 9 March 2026 (UTC)
