Getting really (reaaaaaaaaaaaaally!) out of hand, please have a look at this (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Fabricio_Agosto#Requested_move_18_November_2019), one of your suggestions ("Fabri (footballer, born 1987") is 200% better than the current state. "Fabricio Agosto"?! Never seen him referred as that in all his years in Spain...
By proxy, certes, by user still at it, almost unstoppable in spite of your suggestion in their talk (from 26 December). Happy 2020, and all that! --Quite A Character (talk) 01:25, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
Invitation to the 2020 WikiCup
Happy New Year, Happy New Decade and Happy New WikiCup! The competition began at the start of January and all article creators, expanders and improvers are welcome to take part. If you are interested in joining, you can add your name here and the judges will set up your submissions page. Creative editors like yourself seem to enjoy taking part, and many return year after year. Signups will close at the end of January, and the first round will end on 26 February; the 64 highest scorers at that time will move on to round 2. The judges for the WikiCup are Sturmvogel 66 (talk · contribs · email), Godot13 (talk · contribs · email), Vanamonde93 (talk · contribs · email) and Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:34, 4 January 2020 (UTC)

The pilot in command of an aircraft is the person aboard who is ultimately responsible for its operation and safety during flight. This would be the captain in a typical two- or three-pilot aircrew, or "pilot" if there is only one certificated and qualified pilot at the controls of an aircraft.

Mark Sykes
"Belfast native" clearly refers to Mark Sykes' birthplace and the NI U21 page says explicitly "Birthplace: Belfast" (as I mentioned in my edit summary) but it's in a popup so not possible to link directly to (which is why I used the Belfast Telegraph link instead). I'm going to revert your revert and I'll add the Irish FA link. Sykes clearly was born in Belfast. Dave.Dunford (talk) 14:23, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
William Gibb
Fair enough. I'm never comfortable with statistical sites at any time. I was in two minds about Gibb because they have his birthday as 1 January which could easily be an auto-default for the year, assuming 1854 is the right year, but I chose benefit of doubt. Happy to leave it alone now unless a good book source can be found. Thanks. No Great Shaker (talk) 14:33, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

I added a reference the last time. So, as far as I am concerned, the matter should be settled. But if you look closely at the references here, you'll notice that many of the season-specific references were actually not deleted from the article. Kingjeff (talk) 03:16, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
The kicker magazine references that you currently want to keep are currently redirecting to the 2019–20 season on kicker's website. Therefore, only the seasons referenced by World Football are referenced. The table you are reverting to is out-of-date by almost 2 years and doesn't even include the 2019–20 season. I am completely happy with the table I inserted and I did add the World Football reference at the top, which made the whole table sourced, and I updated the table to the most recent match that his current club played. Kingjeff (talk) 04:39, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
But there are no references for the seasons you are referring too. Kingjeff (talk) 20:17, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
I suggest you check those references you want to keep. The Kicker magazine references are only referencing the 2019–20. There is no 2019–20 season line right now. Right now, if a season is not referenced by the World Football reference, then it's simply not referenced. Kingjeff (talk) 20:40, 27 January 2020 (UTC)

On 28 January 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Tyreece John-Jules, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that English footballer Tyreece John-Jules's uncle is Red Dwarf's Cat? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Tyreece John-Jules. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Tyreece John-Jules), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

This was deleted at a TFD a while back, when they still had amateur status and had few (if any) players with Wikipedia articles. Iriome González
PLEASE, page needs to be moved. BDFUTBOL and FUTBOLME (both Spanish as subject) call him Iriome, and SOCCERWAY follows suit. So, where is Mr. Ortizesp and me wrong please?
By the time i finish writing these lines, maybe i have already been reverted, in which case i give up and article stays how you (both) want. Attentively --Quite A Character (talk) 20:47, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
- Both MundoDeportivo match reports address him by first name, and the Spain U20 callup found in international career. Have this as well (https://www.laliga.com/noticias/iriome-decide-en-el-angel-carro). --Quite A Character (talk) 20:49, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
Apologies, for: 1 - belated reply; 2 - another misuse of rollback, i'll admit it now (and face the consequence if need be) i often use the feature because it's quicker and does not require a summary, not that i'm calling (in this case you) anyone a vandal, nothing further from the truth! I'll try and follow the steps to see the page moved, if i can not do it myself.
Accept my sincere apologies, continue the good work --Quite A Character (talk) 00:29, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
- I candidly explained in Matty's page, where i pinged you, i could have been in the wrong with that move, and tried to reach a consensus (also there, i also mention it could have been an uncontested move, and presented proof to back my case up, don't know if you noticed that). Nonsense? How come?
For the record, i'll now go and try to request a move per your suggestion (but don't worry, if i can't i won't come to your page and bother you asking for help), in the meantime we'll have "González" as his sporting name, while he is addressed as "Iriome" in the storyline. No biggie for me, it stays that way. --Quite A Character (talk) 19:55, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
- OK then, sorry for the mixup on my part. --Quite A Character (talk) 19:58, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
Have already inserted said request here (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requested_moves/Current_discussions), hopefully all was done well. Now, we wait... --Quite A Character (talk) 20:15, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
- Where did i go wrong here (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Iriome_Gonz%C3%A1lez)? --Quite A Character (talk) 20:24, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for all the assistance. If you are interested please check Matty's talkpage (he has since replied to my asking his two cents), maybe his opinion will make you change your mind (or not)... Also, maybe i'm missing something, but with all respect (hey man, you're the admin!) it makes no sense to have his sporting name in the box as "Iriome González" only for us to say in the intro player is known mononymously. Also, you mentioned something about his Twitter being "IriomeGonzález24" in the move request in the talkpage. A bit irrelevant methinks, Guti (that legend of Real Madrid) played one season (if not more) with "Guti HAZ" written on his shirt to honour his children, we would not add that to his sporting name or even rename an article for that, would we?
Attentively, happy rest --Quite A Character (talk) 23:30, 5 February 2020 (UTC)

RE: Moving Pages
I'm sure it is standard practice, that's not my complaint. My complaint is that you apparently didn't check before merging and I was unable to restore so I had to redo a lot of it. I also wasn't being aggressive, just being frostily formal, which is different. It's just a little disheartening when your work gets wiped like that. I was hoping that you would understand my position and help me to understand yours.~~ Brududesom (talk) 21:04, 9 February 2020 (UTC)

Re Re: Merging articles
So you checked and still did it anyway, even though there was no reason to go through with it? And stop trying to deflect the focus here - even if I was able to fully restore the page without issue, it doesn't change anything, you've still seemingly maliciously merged the draft with the page which caused me to have to do even more work to get back parts of the page that should never have been overwritten. So, I will ask you once more to explain why you merged the draft with the page when there was no need to. ~~ Brududesom (talk) 22:04, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

Maxime Biamou
I just saw your message regarding my edits on Maxime Biamou. I'm assuming you're referring to the edits I made to his stats section. I thought someone got his goal stats wrong but I didn't realize it was just his league goal stats. I reverted the edit to the previous state. Thanks for the info. CrypticAbyss (talk) 16:15, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. I saw that many of the edits I made on Maxime Biamou were undone. Is this only because I didn't discuss the sources beforehand or because the information wasn't necessary? I can understand how some of the information I wrote could be deemed as redundant but in terms of sources, all the information either came from soccerbase.com or the official Coventry City site. Perhaps I didn't cite them correctly? CrypticAbyss (talk) 18:08, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
Since the page is about a real person, I understand how it is especially important to ensure that all sources are verifiable. I will discuss the sources on the talk page along with a proposed draft of what I want to add as text. CrypticAbyss (talk) 18:28, 7 March 2020 (UTC)

Mart 2020
I recently removed content from Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents because other moderators aggressively convinced me that I was wrong. And I just wanted to remove it so as not to be banned, maybe they are right (they sided with the user I was complaining about and just vote for the ban of my account). So, can this be removed or not? — Preceding unsigned comment added by JackAtkinson22 (talk • contribs) 14:00, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
- JackAtkinson22—a step in the right direction might be signing your posts. That is done with 4 "tildes". See WP:SIGN. Do you notice that your "signature" does not look like the signatures of most of the other participants on Talk pages? That is because a "bot" is "signing" your posts for you. But you can and should do it yourself. Just type 4 tildes at the end of your post, as explained at WP:SIGN. (I hope GiantSnowman doesn't mind me weighing in here.) Date ties
Regarding your edits here - I understand our practice is to change date formats if something is obviously nationally-linked, but I'm not sure this really applies here? MacTavish's historical notability really only arises through his brief British political career; he was (by modern terms) a dual-national who lived in both countries, and I think our practice has always been to leave this sort of could-go-either-way article in whatever the existing stable format was. It's also still tagged for using British English, which is a bit of an odd mix to leave it in. Andrew Gray (talk) 20:41, 19 March 2020 (UTC)

Quit being disruptive; as I'm sure you know perfectly well, her notability derives almost entirely from Y Dydd Olaf (partly in Cornish) and Le Kov (all in Cornish), and she's almost certainly the most famous Cornish artist in any medium. If not for those two albums she'd just be "the one who was in a couple of incarnations of the Pipettes". Removing the fact that a Cornish artist famous for Cornish-language work is Cornish is straightforward tendentious editing. ‑ Iridescent 20:37, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

Connor Calcutt
Hi GiantSnowman. I hope you could help me out here. I'm not sure if this player, Connor Calcutt, also have played for Eynesbury Rovers. I can see that he signed with Bedford Town F.C. at the end of November 2019 and has played for the club until today. But at the same time, some sources also suggest that he have played games for Eynesbury Rovers in January and February 2020, if you look at those links: http://www.aylesburyunitedfc.co.uk/players/connor-calcutt#playingcareer, https://www.huntspost.co.uk/sport/football/local-side-stung-by-high-scoring-substitute-in-exit-against-leighton-town-1-6462805, https://www.huntspost.co.uk/sport/football/ducket-goes-from-hero-to-villain-in-spartan-south-midlands-league-draw-1-6497194. But as you can see on this link https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/bedford-town/appearances/connor-calcutt/810711, he also played for Bedford in the same period. Im confused. I hope you can help :D Fodbold-fan (talk) 22:50, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

Hello. I wonder if FIFA have actually made a typo here. The sources already in the article are mixed: Neil Brown (who sourced primarily from Rothman's) and Soccerbase have two t's while FIFA has one. Have no access to the book source, and am discounting the footballzz as unreliable. If it had been me, and no other sources had been available, I'd have followed FIFA, as the article does, but I think they're wrong.
ENFA and Hugman also have two. So do the websites of some of his former clubs: Kingstonian, Scarborough, Aylesbury. So does the Conference 25th anniversary stats book, edited by that league's then official statistician: Harman, John, ed. (2005). Alliance to Conference 1979–2004: The first 25 years. Tony Williams. p. 407. ISBN 978-1-869833-52-7. So do transcriptions of birth records: search at FreeBMD; I know we can't use birth records for BLP details that haven't been published in reliable secondary sources, but I think they're acceptable to determine which published spelling is correct.
Which way would you prefer to go? I can boldly move it, and copy the above to the talk page as rationale, or go through RM. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 11:39, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

Change to Lead in Edward L. Feightner Article
Hi GiantSnowman. Thank you for your edits to improve the Edward L. Feightner article, but I have a question. When you removed the aviator call sign, "Whitey", from the lead, you referenced WP:MOSNICKNAME as the rationale, but doesn't this guidance apply to the name of the article rather than the lead? When I included the call sign, "Whitey" in the lead, I followed MOS:NICKNAME that deals with names in the lead/body and states, "If a person is known by a nickname ... it is usually presented between double quotation marks following the last given name" For example, Roland Bernard "Bunny" Berigan. There are articles of Feightner's contemporaries that also use this approach (e.g. James H. Flatley, John Thach, Edward O'Hare, Floyd B. Parks). Thanks, Skeet Shooter (talk) 23:10, 5 April 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Armenia national football teams

A tag has been placed on Category:Armenia national football teams requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. I noticed an edit you reverted over the date of birth of David Corbett (footballer, born 1940). The 15 April is his listed DoB on the GreensOnScreen source used on the page already, as well as on Swindon-Town-FC.co.uk.
As Plymouth Argyle link GreensOnScreen as an official source on their own website, might I suggest their site would be more reliable than the hugmansfootballers.com & neilbrown.newcastlefans.com ones currently cited on the article?

Hello, I put the merge request on that page, but then I put personally some templates and the merge proposal on the talk pages of CS Mureșul Deva and LPS Cetate Deva, I hope its ok. If you want to express your opinion, you are welcomed, as always.

Callaghan MacCarty, 3rd Earl of Clancarty
Dear GiantSnowman. Thank you for the attention you gave today to the article Callaghan MacCarty, 3rd Earl of Clancarty to which I have contributed. It is rated C and still needs further improvement, no doubt. Your comment on the edit was (date formats per MOS:DATEFORMAT by script | Cleaned up using AutoEd). I am still somewhat of a novice and on an apparently endless learning curve. I hope to get some clarity from you about what is right or wrong or good practice in Wikipedia, so that you need to correct me less and less in the future. Most of your edits concerned list items where you added spaces after the leading * or #. I gather it is that AutoEd tool that does it. I have been to an introduction to Wikipedia-editing in Dublin in March this year and asked the presenter, the user Smirkybec whether list items should include such spaces. She recommended to omit them. I had been doing the opposite at the time and then corrected all lists I had written by chucking these spaces out. So now I do not know. I have looked at MOS:LIST and have not found advice concerning these spaces, but perhaps I have missed it. It is a long text. I feel that lists do look better in code with spaces, but that is probably irrelevant. Smirkybec says most editors do not look at code. Please give me some advice. With many thanks. Senam Langueh
Hi GS. I removed Rochefort FC from Senam Langueh's article because that was in the French seventh-tier, far removed from the professional career which the player is notable for. Former professional footballers often play football at lower league levels into their 40s and 50s. Do you think it's appropriate to include all that in the infobox? Where does it end? If we dig hard enough much of that can be reliably sourced.
By the way, I find a wholesale revert disrespectful of the work put in. The removal of the Rochefort stint constitutes at most a third of the changes. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 09:33, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
- That does not seem to fit well with WP:EXCESSDETAIL:
"Before inserting the new material, one should consider the significance of his/her additions. Is it something the topic is widely known for? What is its connection to the topic's notability? Any indiscriminate detail should be removed. Readers might lose interest when a portion of an article goes into too much detail on one specific aspect. Other times, readers might question how so much detail on something is important to the topic. Wikipedia is not supposed to be a collection of every single fact about a subject."

Removal of height
I noticed you seem to be using AWB to remove the height of players from articles, is using an automated tool the best way to challenge this information? WP:V says Also check to see whether the material is sourced to a citation elsewhere on the page.
Are the other references in the article being checked first prior to the removal of the height? Often the source is found elsewhere in the article instead of the infobox per WP:INFOBOXREF. Similar to how the player number is almost never referenced in the infobox. The same applies to the player's career and league statistics in the infobox for stub articles. Using AWB also does not account for the height mentioned with a source in prose, or a general reference. I've often sourced footballer infoboxes in the opening sentence of the article, so to me this mass removal does not seem the best way to challenge possibly unsourced information. S.A. Turkish IP on French football articles
Hi GS, There is a Turkish user, across two IPs, who is editing disruptively but possibly in good faith in French football articles. Mainly 2019–20 Ligue 2 and Ligue 2 but occasionally elsewhere. They are not responding on talk pages or leaving edit summaries, just repeatedly adding the same edits over and over again. It seems a case of not understanding what we are doing here, and obviously of not communicating.
- Special:Contributions/95.15.163.182 (current IP)
- Special:Contributions/95.13.89.53 (IP until 15th May)
I've written on both talk pages, but none of the other reverters have, so it doesn't appear they've been warned enough to take any action through the noticeboards.
Do you think this rises to the level of disruptive editing, and if so what action would you recommend next? Cheers, Gricehead (talk) 09:00, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
Vasas FC -> Vasas SC rename reconsider
Hi,
I saw you initiated a speedy category renaming regarding the subject (...FC->Vasas SC players, ...FC->Vasas SC managers). See my recent edit on the article (Vasas SC), but also the lead. So the sport orgnaization overall is Vasas SC, but the football branch is Vasas FC since 2012. It is a thing that the parent article is meant for the football team, while the others have the respective name of the different sports are included, but you may reconsider to undo these changes, since just the football branch has the name FC, while all other sports SC, later problems could arose from this, if non-football players will be once categorized (though, it would be also a question if we would wish to make different categories for historic players earlier when than 2012...or any name of it's history in a special timeline respectively...however I assume possibly by any clubs the current category of a present football club may be applied backwards even if the name was different, or no?). Regards(KIENGIR (talk) 16:12, 23 May 2020 (UTC))
- Hi, thank you for your message. Well..I am 50%-50%, that's why I asked your opinion. As you said, since currently it is solely for the football team, everything per article scope and name is consistent in the framework of WP. However, later this could be an issue. Thus, unless you don't see it as well necessary, I won't initiate an RM.(KIENGIR (talk) 16:17, 23 May 2020 (UTC))
- Well, i.e. Zoltán Czibor is in the category "Budapest Honvéd FC players", although the club has this name only from 2003., it seems my assumption is correct about recent practise in WP. Well, there may be two solutions:
- - we rename the parent article to (a), Vasas SC (football), or (b), Vasas FC (at the same time, the History of Vasas SC should be updated, since the article's scope is now only football, although recently it is and overaching sport club of many sports, so it may be a good substitute to care about the general Vasas SC...I have to also draw your attention, about the template remained untouched: Template:Vasas FC managers, so here still the "original" FC designations and it covers historic times...)

Hi there, I'd like to ask you if you know how to can change an article from Stub status to a better status once the article has been fully updated and edited. This club season 2019–20 Aberdeen F.C. season is listed as a stub but I see it being better and more than just a stub. I still don't understand this so wondering if this can be re-assessed please? Many thanks Davezo33 16:36, 24 May 2020 (UTC)

Terry Angus
You have deleted my revisions on Terry Angus' page but they are correct. I have amended the page at Terry Angus' request as he is a very close friend of mine and the previous data was incorrect. I have asked admin on the "biographies of living persons" noticeboard to amend it to my information which is correct. Can you please do this?
You have now removed his appearances and goals for Slough and Nuneaton completely... so they are definitely not correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hayleyjedwards (talk • contribs) 18:47, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
My source is Terry Angus. His email address is tangus@thepfa.co.uk if you email him, he can confirm his non league stats to you. Mr Angus said that if you are only putting league stats on there, why have the incorrect non-league Nuneaton and Slough stats been on there for the past decade? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hayleyjedwards (talk • contribs) 18:53, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
My Angus has just showed me a wiki page for Neil Moore and his non league stats are represented, therefore Mr Angus wants to know how his non -league stats can be added to his page
- (by talk reader) @Hayleyjedwards: I think I've seen enough of your disrespect. Wikipedia is based upon published sources, not the word of somebody. I cannot emphasize enough that we do not care what's true. Please stop editing Wikipedia and tell Terry Angus that Wikipedia is not for you. Chris Troutman (talk) 19:02, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
- Excuse me for butting in, but I see no disrespect on the part of the OP, just someone who doesn't know how Wikipedia works. However frustrating that may be for the more experienced among us, we don't get to tell people to "stop editing Wikipedia". There's your disrespect, right there. Bretonbanquet (talk) 19:11, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Bretonbanquet: I am all for helping new editors understand how we do things here. I do not accept continued demands from a CoI editor, evincing no sorrow for the offense caused or showing any desire to provide actual sources outside of "Mr Angus." Maybe you've lasted this long on Wikipedia watching your fellow editors being treated like short-order typists. I have a little more respect for our editors than you do, I guess. Chris Troutman (talk) 20:03, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
- I beg to differ. Picking and choosing to whom you show respect suggests that for you, being respectful is a part-time job. This editor clearly did not know that CoI was even a problem here. Telling them to "stop editing" says more about you than it does them. As for demanding "sorrow" for causing you "offence", well, you must be very easily offended. All the best, Bretonbanquet (talk) 20:35, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

Mr Angus said that the 48 games stated by Slough possibly includes ALL cup matches entered for that year. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hayleyjedwards (talk • contribs) 19:14, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
Thank you very much for your time and effort. I fully respect that Wiki has to rely on facts or reliable sources, hence the reason why we wanted the original information changed. For your reference, Mr Angus played for Solihull, Brackley and Stratford as a favour, only signing for one-off games at each club. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hayleyjedwards (talk • contribs) 19:23, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
I've read the updates - thank you. Just to let you know,Terry wasn't a probation officer at Princes Trust. He was a Team Leader as Princes Trust don't employ probation officers. After Prince's Trust,he became a Youth Offending Team Practitioner. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hayleyjedwards (talk • contribs) 19:30, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
Curious move
This seems a curious move for an article (created by yourself) about an American. Oculi (talk) 21:03, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
- FYI, I reverted it (for some reason I had that page on my watchlist). I agree, if they're American then it's soccer (much as I hate the term). Joseph2302 (talk) 21:39, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Oculi, Joseph2302, and Danstarr69: yep, the standard disambiguation for an American player of the sport is '(soccer)'. GiantSnowman 07:23, 30 May 2020 (UTC)

Oli McBurnie
Sorry re forum
Hi, just wanted to confirm that I'm not wanting to make trouble and waste your time with my Scottish footballer amendments. As you maybe read on James Paterson edit summary, I'm very confident with the content of that particular forum due to the calibre of the contributors, and unfortunately the existing books on the subject (most of which were written before access to records was as easy as it now is to be fair) seem to have perpetuated some historical inaccuracies in the personal details over the years, rather than prompted correction. However I'm fully aware that it's too weak to be used as a source. With Paterson I was fortunate that the info has now been published in various places, so when I find other similar discrepancies I'll attempt to get a source which backs up the info in the forum - and if I can't, I'll just leave it as it shows, I realise it's arguments I'm not gonna win without proper evidence. Cheers. Crowsus (talk) 20:52, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
Aad Mansveld
I got to update the Aad Mansveld page by translating the main Dutch part. Use Google translate if you don't trust me. Source: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aad_Mansveld. I wrote a lot of articles on (Dutch) Wikipedia, but this is the first time I translated a page into English. Please update the reference if needed. I don't know how to do that. --Hurdurburdur (talk) 21:06, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

Requesting move to Seah Kian Peng
Hi, you had placed a create block on Seah Kian Peng back in 2013 due to repeated copyright infringement. I have written a new version at Draft:Seah Kian Peng, referencing from various sources. Seah is elected into the national legislature of Singapore and had introduced new laws into Singapore's legislation. In my opinion, Seah should pass the notability presumptions in WP:POLITICIAN. If it is alright by you, can you help to move the draft into the mainspace? Thanks! – robertsky (talk) 06:35, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
Proof that Clive Griffiths (footballer) called MISL games on television
- MISL Kansas City Comets at SD Sockers Game 4 Semi's 5-17-87 with Kevin Wall on the Comets Television Network.
BornonJune8 (talk) 7:19, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
Clive Griffiths Clive was another Comet whose life was interrupted by cancer but unlike Barry Wallace, Mr. Griffiths is happily still alive to tell about it. A fellow Brit from Wales, Griffiths played on the inaugural ’81-’82 squad and teamed up with Gino Schiraldi on the defense and also quickly became another fan favorite and was very active in the community before being stricken with testicular cancer in 1983. After undergoing successful chemo treatments, Clive returned briefly before retiring to the Comets’ front office and to the broadcast booth. Clive also served as head coach for the men’s soccer team at my alma mater, UMKC, in the late ‘80s.
BornonJune8 (talk) 7:15, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
Why if I show you a video clip of Clive Griffiths doing broadcast work for the Major Indoor Soccer League's Kansas City club, is still dismissive in your world? Even if it's a YouTube club, why should your word be placed first against mine? That would kind of like be saying that I have video evidence of a robbery being taken place and I show it to you to identify the suspect. But since it isn't being covered by any reputable newspaper or such, what I presented is by default, "not true". BornonJune8 (talk) 5:13, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
