Please include years of birth and death in the short description

Thank you for creating several interesting draft articles.

When the date or at least the years of birth and of death are known, please include them in the short description. For example, in Draft:John Hicks (died 1734), I changed {{Short description|English politician}} to {{Short description|English politician (1658 or 1659–1734)}}. If the date of death were completely unknown, then I would have used {{Short description|English politician (died 1734)}} instead.

When a draft is declined, you do not need to ask for it to be deleted. Perhaps you or someone else will find the additional references needed to establish the topic's notability. If nothing is done to a declined draft, it will eventually be deleted after six months. TrainRouennais (talk) 11:16, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

@TrainRouennais I will remember that. GoldenBootWizard276 (talk) 11:17, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

@TrainRouennais: Okay, I have requested for some of those drafts to be undeleted. GoldenBootWizard276 (talk) 17:18, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hi GoldenBootWizard276. Thank you for your work on Edward Eliot (died 1722). Another editor, Thilio, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Heyya, I just want to say great job creating these MP articles, It would be even better if you created them with two or three sources. Yes, the History of Parliament (HoP) is a strong source but it would help if you added another source as well. But overall, well done.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Thilio}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

CONFUSED SPIRIT(Thilio).Talk 18:16, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

Thank you, unfortunately I cannot find many sources for the MP articles I create. If I can find any I will incorporate them into the article. GoldenBootWizard276 (talk) 18:31, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: James Assheton Frankland, 18th Baron Zouche (March 11)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Nil NZ were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission provides insufficient context for those unfamiliar with the subject matter. Please see the guide to writing better articles for information on how to better format your submission.
 The comment the reviewer left was:
Being a peer doesn't automatically make the subject notable, so instead we'll need evidence he meets one of our usual WP:Notability (people) criteria.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

The reviewer, ChrysGalley, left the following feedback:
This draft provides insufficient context for those unfamiliar with the subject. Please see the guide to writing better articles for how to improve your writing.
This subject does not have presumed notability, so sourcing independent of the subject is necessary for notability, and all the sources have some sort of connection to the subject, typically as employer. Their texts may well have come from the subject. However there is plenty of independent sources available, the quickest of Google searches threw up the Jerusalem Post, the Independent and the Times, reviewing her work.

The reviewer, CaptainEek, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the person meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for people. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the person in detail, not brief mentions or interviews lacking independent analysis;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the person, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
