Wikipedia:Consensus
All of the edits you are doing about the Premo-Poretta Poll national champions were long-established in college basketball's navboxes and articles. Decade-plus at least, if not longer. Due to the sweeping nature of these edits, the impact on WikiProject College basketball, and the seeming unilateral nature of which these changes are being made, this should have been brought up at WT:CBBALL to gain community consensus for the changes. Your account is brand new but it almost feels like you've been editing for a longer time, maybe a sockpuppet account, I'm not quite sure. Either way, let's not edit war. But the onus is on you to bring up the proposed changes to the WikiProject College basketball community. If the broader consensus is to remove Premo-Poretta, then that's fine. If you do not bring up the proposed changes to the project's talk page for others' input, your acts may be considered vandalism and reverted, with your account blocked. - I understand your concern regarding the sweeping nature of these edits and the impact on the long-established presentation of retroactive titles. My goal was to improve the accuracy of the articles and ensure they adhere to Wikipedia's core policy regarding Neutral Point of View (NPOV) by not presenting unofficial, non-NCAA recognized titles as unqualified "National Championships" in prominent locations.
- Per your request, I will now immediately cease all mass-editing and reversions related to the PPPP claims. I will not revert any further, and I ask that you do the same.
- I will open a formal discussion on the matter at the WikiProject College Basketball talk page (WT:CBBALL) to gain community consensus on the standardization of these retroactive poll selections.
- Regarding the reverts, I must request that you also cease reverting my edits across multiple pages, as the continued mass-reversion of content-related edits after a discussion has been initiated may be interpreted as wikihounding and disruptive editing. Let's keep a civil dispute contained to the talk page.
- Once I open the discussion, you may take your concerns and reasoning for the reversions to the WT:CBBALL discussion so the community can weigh in. Hinklehomie (talk) 01:10, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
Please remember to update the citation when changing information
Hello, I'm Flibirigit. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, USA Hockey National Team Development Program, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Flibirigit (talk) 21:29, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Flibirigit, thank you for the note. While the 2025 draft figures were accurate based on the source that you removed, I've now updated the citation and access date to ensure the source matches the text. In the future, it would be more helpful to update the source details rather than reverting a factual improvement and removing the reference entirely. The article is now fully updated and cited. Thank you. Hinklehomie (talk) 22:14, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
