Hello, I'm Merlin04. An edit that you recently made to Hunfrid of Prüm seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or ask your questions at the Teahouse, a friendly place for new users. Thanks. - @Merlin04 I'm sorry! All the sources are reliable, I have looked at each book and page myself, I just don't know the editing style of Wikipedia well, I'm trying to learn, thinfs like dates, the code, and such is what I have trouble on, and doing this on a phonoe is so hard for me, and hope others can correct me and help fix my errors. - That's understandable, I'm happy to help with any editing style/formatting questions you might have. Since I saw you re-added the content, I'd like to confirm - did you use an LLM/AI chatbot to write any of it? Merlin04talkcontribs 02:15, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- @Merlin04 Thank you for understanding, I promise, I haven't, all the code I used was code I learned to do by looking at other wiki pages and what they looked like and how the references and infobox code worked, I used Saint Patrick's page to copy-paste the infobox, then I found a reference in it to copy-paste, then change the links and such, I kinda "Frankensteined" it but it worked in the end
- And I do know how to write pretty well, I even got to write a article that comes out in May for the journal for the Historical Society of Prüm, offered by the chairman himself, how this happened was I asked the Prüm tourist board where I could find more info on this Saint, they said they knew who could know about him, so they forwarded my email to the chairman of the Prüm Historical Society, the website is gvpl.de by the way if you are interested, and the chairman offered me to write for them because they didn't know the Saint existed actually, so since I couldn't get more info on this Saint from anyone, I decided to find all the info myself on google scholar, and old books, manuscripts from internet archive and colleges, and the French Ministry of Culture, as he is my surnames namesake and I was born the day he died, which is a weird coincidence, so before I wrote the article, I tried my hardest to put all my new info into this wiki page to have all my info in one place and practice writing for the article, and any new words I didn't know of along the way, I looked up the definitions for.
- I got so nervous so I did my very best because well, I didn't want to fail the chairman, I have emails from him and my editor if you want me to prove it, sorry if I bothered you dude. Hunfridus871 (talk) 02:51, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
