Hello!

Welcome to the drive

Welcome, welcome, welcome! It is very nice to see a newcomer here. Wikipedia don't often see newcomers and the fact that you are here and joining the drive demonstrates that you are an ambitious person, still learning the ropes but daring to grow as an editor. Anyways, if you need help, feel free to take a look at WP:CITE or message me! I'm always here to help you.

Here are a few articles about chemistry (which I think is your topic of interest) that are totally uncited here. You can type chemistry incategory:"All articles lacking sources" to find more articles.

Good luck for the drive. CactiStaccingCrane (talk) 11:37, 22 January 2024 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: 2022 Lexington, Kentucky, mayoral election (February 5)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by S0091 was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of events). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Sources are primary.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Madhu, Sri Lanka, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sinhalese. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Page protection map

Thanks for creating m:File:World_Map_Article_Protection.svg. It might be worth adding a separate color for pending changes protected articles such as Botswana, Cameroon, Guatemala, Lithuania, Nicaragua, Slovakia, Vatican_City, and Zimbabwe. If an article is semi-protected or ECP on top of pending changes protection, then the higher page protection level takes precedence. Regards. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 22:15, 1 August 2024 (UTC)

Great idea! I put together that map pretty quickly, but I only looked for a few things based on what I could get from a single field. Also, that's good to know about the hierarchy. IndigoManedWolf (talk) 22:24, 1 August 2024 (UTC)

This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:

You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! signed, Rosguill talk 16:37, 28 January 2026 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Penny Abeywardena

Hello IndigoManedWolf. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Penny Abeywardena, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Coverage in the NY Times and NY Daily Press constitute a credible claim of signifigance negating A7. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 02:02, 30 January 2026 (UTC)

January–February 2026 NPP drive - Phase 2

NPP unreviewed article statistics as of February 02, 2026

Welcome to Phase 2 of the January–February 2026 NPP drive. During Phase 1, we reviewed 16,658 articles and 4,416 redirects, and there is currently a backlog of 16,475 articles and 23,782 redirects in the queue. Fantastic job! Completing 22,502 patrols in the first phase made a significant dent in the backlog. Let's keep our foot on the gas for Phase 2, and I hope we can achieve even more reviews than Phase 1. Best of luck!
