Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Cathy Cabral when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. January–February 2026 Backlog Drive | New pages patrol
New Pages Patrol is hosting a one-time, two-month experimental backlog drive aimed at reducing the backlog. This will be a combo drive: both articles and redirects will earn points. The drive will run from 1 January to 28 February 2026. The drive is divided into two phases. Participants may take part in either phase or across both phases, depending on availability. Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled during the drive. Two-month drive-exclusive barnstars will be awarded to eligible participants. Each article review earns 1 point, while each redirect review earns 0.2 points. Streak awards will be granted based on consistently meeting weekly point thresholds. Hi, I was just clearing through the CSD backlog and found two redirects James_A._Janisse and Visa_(song) that you had tagged for deletion as blocking a disambiguation, not sure how you had stumbled upon them, but there was no clear reason for them to be deleted, as the disambiguation page moves they were supposedly blocking don't exist. Hello @Mfield. There's two draft article I'm working on which I'm the creator. I requested CSD, not moving the drafts, but I removed or merged the links myself so that other AfC reviewers would no longer need to fix the redirects. In short, I handled the removal myself. To be clear here, you should not be tagging the redirects for deletion yourself, they will be tagged for deletion by the reviewer when and if your submission is approved. This is to prevent the redirects from being deleted before an article is ready to be moved into place. Mfield (Oi!) 18:55, 22 February 2026 (UTC)
