ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

N-Hydroxy-DOM structure image

Hi Innerstream! I just noticed that the structure image for N-hydroxy-DOM is incorrect. It's missing the α-methyl group on the side chain, so the image shows N-hydroxy-2C-D rather than N-hydroxy-DOM. Copper histidinate structure

This sort of thing is unlikely to be a simple ionic combination, contrary to File:Copper histidinate.svg. Several X-ray structures have been published for this one, and it's an unusual five-coordinate copper. doi:10.1021/ic035413q has a .cif. DMacks (talk) 18:53, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

Yeah, File:Copper histidinate.svg is more of a canonical representation. I think it suits the primary purpose of illustrating the pharmaceutical delivery of active ingredient Cu²⁺ and histidine, though. I've created another representation to incorporate more of the 3D structure, File:Copper histidinate v2.svg. Feel free to use it, or not, as you see fit.
