Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Sportspeople from Brisbane by sport

A tag has been placed on Category:Sportspeople from Brisbane by sport requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1954 Great Britain Lions tour, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Ralph Foster and Ron Foster. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Edit to Pauling entry in the List of Biochemists

Please could you explain why you changed "structure" to "struct)ure" in the entry for Linus Pauling in the List of biochemists? What is wrong with "structure"? Moreover, "struct)ure" is not a word. When you did it the first time I thought it was probably a typo, but as you have reverted my revert it was presumably deliberate. Athel cb (talk) 11:41, 29 December 2025 (UTC)

Sorry about that. It was a typo that I didn't notice in the initial edit or the reversion. What I was aware of was that I was adding Addy Pross and that by reverting my edit you were removing him. Fixed now.--Gibson Flying V (talk) 15:56, 29 December 2025 (UTC)
OK, thanks; that makes sense. I hadn't noticed the you had added Addy Pross. Indeed, without thinking much about it I thought he was already there. A good example to illustrate why it's a good idea to add a few words of explanation of each edit (something I don't always remember to do myself. Athel cb (talk) 16:13, 29 December 2025 (UTC)
