Welcome!
Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you were a member of the Project Peru group, and you have published Lizárraga’s biography. I’d like to say that is a great addition, as well as invite you to collaborate on an area of my interest. Over the last few months, I have published four biographies relating to figures from the Amazon Rubber boom. My personal favorite, and one you may find interest in, is Benjamin Saldaña Rocca. I have spread myself thin, and therefore seeking collaboration so I can add more information to Wikipedia about the Amazon rubber boom.
These are two drafts I have currently if you would like to check them out. Draft:Inca Mining Company
Draft:Luis Felipe Morey
I also have a list of pages regarding the rubber boom that could use some editing or support, most of them dealing with Peru. Arawoke (talk) 00:50, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
From your mentor
Hello there, I am your mentor, and I just wanted to say how proud I am of you! keep on going!! -- Grapefanatic (Talk) 13:13, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
Albert Giesecke moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Albert Giesecke, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Dan arndt (talk) 20:27, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
Sourcing
Howdy hello. I see you've been adding info to Inca Empire, but you didn't provide a citation to a reliable source. It looks like you got the information from somewhere though, so I didn't outright remove the edits. But if you could go back and cite your sources that would be helpful. Thanks! CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 20:51, 21 July 2024 (UTC)
- Yep, it's from the Spanish article, which in turn is based on the well-known Royal Commentaries of the Incas, but yes, I forgot to add the source, I'll do it right now. Thanks for the heads up! JustEMV (talk) 21:11, 21 July 2024 (UTC)
- Also, nice feature in the NYT :) JustEMV (talk) 22:02, 21 July 2024 (UTC)
Machu Picchu at Good Article
Hi JustEMV, I've gone to review Machu Picchu at Good articles, but there are a few issues I would like to see addressed before I start.
A few citation needed tags have cropped up since you were last active, they need to be addressed ASAP as another reviewer may quickfail the article on seeing how many there are.
You should also replace sources to IMDB, YouTube and International Business Times with reliable sources.
Thanks, Rollinginhisgrave (talk) 12:31, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up! I’ll fix the issues and replace the sources right away. I'll let you know when everything's updated. JustEMV (talk) 14:33, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Rollinginhisgrave, I've addressed the citation issues and replaced the unreliable sources. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks a lot! JustEMV (talk) 16:51, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hey, I've spent an hour going through so far and I will be failing the article, I'm sorry. I'll post up the review and you can have a look why, but the sourcing issues were a lot deeper than I initially thought. I hope this doesn't discourage you, because it is a jumping off point for improving it. Rollinginhisgrave (talk) 18:19, 17 August 2024 (UTC)

About translations
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from es:Servicio Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas por el Estado to Servicio Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas por el Estado. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:
NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.
Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you.
Please note the fact that an edit summary with a link to the original article is required. The translated template is great, but completely optional. Thanks, GreenLipstickLesbian (talk) 20:03, 30 September 2024 (UTC)

Hi JustEMV. Thank you for your work on Inka Museum. Another editor, Netherzone, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Thanks for creating the article on the Inca Museum. While reviewing it, I noticed that the History section is unsourced. It can be improved by adding citations (references) to back up the various claims (facts) made about the museum's history.
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Netherzone}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

The World Destubathon
Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible!♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:15, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
Church and Convent of Santo Domingo, Cusco moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Church and Convent of Santo Domingo, Cusco. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Onel5969 TT me 17:11, 28 June 2025 (UTC)

The grey-headed honeyeater (Ptilotula keartlandi) is a species of bird in the honeyeater family, Meliphagidae. It is endemic to Australia, where it has an extensive range covering much of the central arid and semi-arid areas of the continent. It mostly frequents eucalyptus scrub and woodlands in stony hill country and timbered gullies within ranges, but has also been observed on sand-plains with flowering vegetation, mulga and mallee woodlands, riverine areas and occasionally in Mitchell grasslands. The grey-headed honeyeater is thought to be largely sedentary, but undertakes nomadic movements in response to flowering events. The bird is relatively small for a honeyeater, with a total body length of 13–16.5 cm (5.1–6.5 in) and a mass of 12–18 g (0.4–0.6 oz). Adults have a distinctive grey crown above a black facial mask with the nape and remaining upper body parts coloured dark fawn-grey, with light olive-yellow breast, belly, flanks, and throat streaked with brown, a light-grey brown rump and a short black bill. It feeds on invertebrates as well as insects on the wing and, like many honeyeaters, it consumes nectar from flowering trees. This grey-headed honeyeater was photographed in Watarrka National Park in Australia's Northern Territory. Photograph credit: JJ Harrison

DCWC closing update
Two weeks ago, the 2025 Developing Countries WikiContest came to a close! After three months of stiff competition at the top of the leaderboard, we have our winners.
vigilantcosmicpenguin (submissions), continuing his work on covering abortion in Africa, comes in third with 692 points.
simongraham (submissions) comes in second with 763 points, largely from a slew of good articles about jumping spiders. And returning to the podium for the second year in a row,
BeanieFan11 (submissions) takes the Gold Belt Buckle with a mind-boggling 946 points from his series of articles on sportpersons. Congratulations to our winners!
Amazingly, the award for the most countries covered goes to both
BeanieFan11 (submissions) and simongraham (submissions), who each submitted articles under 30 flags!
BeanieFan11 (submissions) also wins for writing the most quality articles (16 good articles). For submitting 16 articles related to El Salvador,
PizzaKing13 (submissions) wins the award for most submissions under one country. The award for most submissions related to women goes to both Spookyaki (submissions) (7 biographies about women) and
vigilantcosmicpenguin (submissions) (21 related articles). And for the second year, simongraham (submissions) wins for the most reviews, having submitted 21!
Among the participants' contributions were 2 FAs, 5 FLs, 124 GAs, and an uncounted number of DYKs, ITNs, and reviews of every kind! Regardless of your level of participation, every contestant can be proud to have contributed towards a major step in countering the systemic bias on Wikipedia. Every year, millions of readers and editors around the globe use Wikipedia to educate themselves and communicate with others about parts of the world that often receive less attention than they deserve. Thank you for participating with us in the contest and contributing to this effort. The DCWC will return next year, and we look forward to seeing you contribute again! However, before that...
We need your feedback! Join the conversation on the talk page to discuss your reflections on the contest (even if you didn't participate!) and help us make it better.
