Request For Advice

Hello! I am a relatively new editor on Wikipedia. When I started I primarily edited pages littered with Imperial Japanese propaganda before getting sidetracked. I admire your work on the Second World War - especially in Europe, and hope to do similar work on pages related to the Continental Asia and Pacific theaters of war. I was wondering if you had any general advice for this endeavor from your experience. Relm (talk) 23:39, 24 January 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for improving article quality in June! - I heard this music, yesterday, - streamed a day before at a different location. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:29, 23 June 2025 (UTC)

While you are of course invited to check out my recommendations any day, today offers unusually a great writer of novels, music with light and a place with exquisite food. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:26, 28 June 2025 (UTC)

Otto Bertram

Hey, I noticed in 2017 you made the page Otto Bertram a redirect to List of Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross recipients (Ba–Bm). I believe you were incorrect to determine a lack of significant coverage, and as you said, the RfC you linked was closed as no consensus, which defaults to no change. In addition to my belief that he meets WP:NBASIC, I also believe his receiving the highest grade of Spanish Cross, which was only given to 28 people, qualifies him under WP:ANYBIO. I intend to revert your change, but I first wanted to check with you to see if I missed anything. Ike Lek (talk) 02:11, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

Where is the significant coverage to base the article on? (t · c) buidhe 14:44, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
In Aces of the Legion Condor there is passing mention in the body of the book and a list of victories and a (very) brief summary of his WW2 career in an Appendix - unsure if this counts as "significant coverage".Nigel Ish (talk) 15:09, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
I can try to track down the German-language sources listed on the old page in the next month or so, but I if I don't hear from @K.e.coffman: in the next day or two, I'm restoring the page so I can work on improving it more easily. Ike Lek (talk) 22:36, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

Call out banner

To Ms. Coffman,

Several years ago (6) I updated a Wikipedia page for an artist whom i know, not knowing this was a problem. The page was called out with a "banner". At the time i clarified my connection, declared no payment was involved, and attempted to address the issue with various long-time Wiki editors. Nothing has changed in 6 years. The information is factual and public. The subject person has since that time, far exceeded the original awards and recognition, but still has to content with this 'scarlett" letter banner on their page. Do you have any advice on how to rectify this and get this banner finally removed? Uranoz (talk) 21:13, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
