Talk page notices regarding suicide

None of the articles you've been posting notices on have actually provided instructions for a suicide. Please take more time to read through the text before making claims like that. Furthermore, Wikipedia isn't supposed to censor things, even for sensitive topics like these. Have a look at WP:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not censored (WP:NOTCENSORED) for more. But it shouldn't talk about methods of suicide. It's dangerous for people with depression. Kacperd40 (talk) 05:51, 14 November 2025 (UTC)
Reading about what somebody else used doesn't inherently guarantee another person will end up doing the same thing. It's an oversimplification to assume otherwise. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 13:01, 14 November 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Clyde H. Mapping. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Suicide in South Korea—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Clyde H. But it is constructive! Kacperd40 (talk) 17:28, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
See Wikipedia:Responding to threats of harm. Articles about suicide do not need disclaimers. Clyde H. Mapping (talk) 17:31, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
But I want to save lives. Talking about how a person commited suicide is not good, it's dangerous for someone with depression. And why did you delete that and say "they don't need disclaimers"? I think they do need them and even if they wouldn't be needed, I can add them. Kacperd40 (talk) 17:35, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
  • I will block you if you continue adding your disclaimers. PhilKnight (talk) 18:46, 21 November 2025 (UTC)
This has been discussed with editor Kacperd40 (at great length) on multiple suicide-related articles, but editor continues to defy the policy and consensus. While I sympathize with editor, they aren't here to build an encyclopedia, but to right great wrongs. I would recommend blocking at this point due to 100% revert rate on all edits to article space. cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is. 18:59, 21 November 2025 (UTC)
    I promise I won't do it anymore, please don't block me Kacperd40 (talk) 19:01, 21 November 2025 (UTC)
But the disclaimer on the Suicide article should be more encouraging to seek help, something like "If you're struggling, seek help by visiting (Suicide prevention link) or "don't take your life". Also this warning should be in the Overdose and in different suicide related articles. Kacperd40 (talk) 17:08, 28 November 2025 (UTC)
Kacperd40, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not any type of self-help platform. If you are unable to move on from your belief about the diclaimers, you will no longer be able to edit this project. Please move on.-- Ponyobons mots 17:16, 28 November 2025 (UTC)
