Re the Crime in the US article
Hi KarmaKangaroo, I agree that my edit summary was lacking to some degree. Lacking the time or inclination to read the entire twenty-five year old book, I searched for keywords hoping to find something matching. Since the statements are all made in generalities, it was impossible to neatly winnow down the results. Nevertheless, the material still isn't meaningful to the article; it's not specific to the US, and what it says is about as compelling as 'if you put toast in a toaster, it will become toast'. It just doesn't add anything meaningful to the article. cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is. 18:24, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

Hey @KarmaKangaroo, I stummbled on your great template you wrote for AN/PEQ-15. Seriously, great work. Would you mind moving it over to Template space instead of your User space? I didn't want to just move it around on you and cause any problems or confusion. Dr vulpes (Talk) 20:09, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Dr vulpes thanks for stopping by and asking. I've done this now, and the template is now here for you to use. Template:Infobox Laser aiming module KarmaKangaroo (talk) 06:20, 11 January 2024 (UTC)

Admin Help - Lost edit of IWI Negev
| This request for help from administrators has been answered. If you need more help or have additional questions, please reapply the {{admin help}} template, or contact the responding user(s) directly on their own user talk page. |
I am looking for some help to find a lost edit, on the article IWI Negev, I spent a long time on the edit several hours, and while writing my edit, another edit was made by someone, I got the edit conflicts warning, and it said I can fix the conflicts manually. I checked the edit, resolved some conflicts, and others were covered by the edit. I then clicked published, and the edit never appeared, and I couldn't recover it. I submitted the edit, and I am hoping that the content is rescuable by an admin, in some log or something as I submitted the edits.

Glamorgan-Spring Bay Council
Hello, I have edited some changes you made on this page. I understand you found a source on DPAC, however, Cheryl Arnol certainly wasnt Mayor between 2007-2014. among some other changes, i have sourced the Tasmanian Electoral Commission reports, which I believe takes precedence. You can find the source on the page if you wanted to take a look, im really not sure how to do references in wikitext. Thanks DeadlyRampage26 (talk) 11:59, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- @DeadlyRampage26 Thanks for this, couldn't find that info anywhere, and the two major sources I did find conflicted with each other, and were still both wrong according to the TEC webpage. Glad you found it. KarmaKangaroo (talk) 15:11, 28 April 2024 (UTC)

Surface Fleet Review
Hello, I have taken your advice and decided to start drafting an article to a good standard before submitting. I thought that the Australian Surface Fleet Review might be a good topic and as such i have begun drafting it, however, I have discovered that you have an active draft of the Defence Strategic Review, and I just wanted to confirm that the creating of a separate article for the surface fleet review would'nt impact your article. I hope it doesn't, but if it does, let me know and i will be happy to cease making this article. Also, if you happened to see any major flaws with my draft, please let me know! Draft can be found here, thanks! DeadlyRampage26 (talk) 12:07, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
- G'day @DeadlyRampage26, thanks for you message. I've had a look, and I'm still thinking about whether it should be its own article or not, however please keep going, if it shouldn't be on its own I'd like to have you contribute it as part of the DSR. So whatever is the decision that work should be included.
- Just a question, what is your understanding/knowledge of Defence procurement and FIC, and the defence SEA, LAND and AIR project system? KarmaKangaroo (talk) 13:29, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
- I don't know a whole lot about the structure of the individual projects but I can find the project numbers (ie SEA2200) if that's what you mean? DeadlyRampage26 (talk) 23:20, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
- @KarmaKangaroo just thought I'd let you know that I have submitted my Surface Fleet Review article for entry into the mainspace. DeadlyRampage26 (talk) 12:16, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

Mizkif
Because the allegations about Mizkif have serious WP:BLP implication, please gain consensus on the talk page before restoring. Another option would be Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard. Thanks. Grayfell (talk) 22:10, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Grayfell The reporting is about the allegations, and no claim is being made about the truthfulness of said claims, but that they have been made (which is present on plenty of notable persons wiki pages), the allegations are important especially considering past allegations already listed in this wiki. The allegation was made by Emiru in stream, the sources are going to talk about said stream... Mizkif has also directly addressed the allegations.
- You've stated NONE OF of the sources are reliable, yet that is not what is said WP:RSP with regard to all sources, most don't have a consensus and in particular WP:TIMESOFINDIA it doesn't state that this isn't reliable or that it cannot be used for BLP, but rather "Editors should ensure that they do not use paid advertorials—which were first published in TOI in 1950 at the earliest—to verify information or establish notability. Paid advertorials may be of particular concern in topics such as entertainment."
- Furthermore more sources are available.
- https://www.sportskeeda.com/us/streamers/news-mizkif-responds-emiru-s-allegation-sexual-assault
- https://evrimagaci.org/gpt/emiru-accuses-mizkif-of-assault-and-threats-in-2025-513650?srsltid=AfmBOooTulIDeTqgDgHVO55EYxa0fYyyuJaXLIS1RMvAc-cdDwCVEBli
- Furthermore the number of sources cited means the information does not constitute due or undue weight.
- Based on the edit history, it seems consensus has been formed, except from you, as the only person asserting that these sources. There are many editors who have contributed to this section, and would agree with its add ition.
- I believe that this section meets the requirements of WP:Publicfigure. The allegation is noteworthy and relevant. Third party sources have reported on the allegations. The allegations are not being presented as fact, the response to the allegations has been provided, and multiple sources have been provided. KarmaKangaroo (talk) 00:14, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- These are serious allegations, otherwise nobody would be talking about them. We need reliable sources to report on serious allegations made against living people. BLP policy is not negotiable in this way. We cannot use past allegations to decide this, we need to use sources for these specific allegations.
- I don't accept that esports.gg is reliable, and the community has already rejected WP:SPORTSKEEDA. Grand Pinnacle Tribune specifically says its news is generated from an 'AI algorithm', meaning it's plagiarized from other gossip sites without any signs of fact-checking or editorialize oversight. Per the Times of India listing you link, 'Editors should also be aware that TOI may have published at least one AI-generated article.' If you think The Times of India has a beat reporter in Austin, Texas covering regional live-streamer drama, I don't know what to tell you. Times of India shovels out tons of gossip on American celebrities, likely AI generated, because that's what gets clicks.
- WP:BLP issues over-rule WP:LOCALCON. I have been looking for sources which cover this, and haven't found any of them yet. If I hadn't removed them, some other experienced editor likely would've. If and when better sources do show up, I will be happy to help use those sources to summarize this. I want to be very clear that I am not interested in defending Mizkif. I want these accusations to be explained in the article proportionately, and in a way that lasts. That means we need better sources. If you really think these current sources are good enough, please raise it at WP:BLPN. Grayfell (talk) 00:33, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- The TOI sources are credited to what appear to be legitimate people with public profiles as journalists working at TOI who have previous history of working for other publications prior to that. I'm not sure what the "beat reporter in Austin Texas" claim is about, as as far as I could see none of those articles sourced said they came from some unverifiable beat reporter in Austin. I have read the articles in TOI and they are not sensationalist, they do not assume allegations as fact, the articles have inline sources and references and quote the allegation video accurately. Again I'm not sure what the "explained in the article proportionately" is meant to suggest? I'm not going to get into an edit war over this. KarmaKangaroo (talk) 01:16, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
