Ways to improve Kalyn Heffernan

Hi, I'm DCI2026. Kencf0618, thanks for creating Kalyn Heffernan!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. A slightly more encyclopedic (or a tad dryer) tone might be appropriate for the article. Notability could be further ascertained through the inclusion of more sourced content on the page; however, current references should suffice.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Cryptocurrency/blockchain standard notice

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has enacted a more stringent set of rules. Any administrator may impose sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Welcome to the drive!

Welcome, welcome, welcome Kencf0618! I'm glad that you are joining the drive! Please, have a cup of WikiTea, and go cite some articles.

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hi Kencf0618. Thank you for your work on Timeline of the 2026 Israeli–United States strikes on Iran. Another editor, Mariamnei, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Nice start!

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Mariamnei}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

@Mariamnei: Thank you! It's not as if I didn't have enough material to work with... kencf0618 (talk) 12:14, 2 March 2026 (UTC)

Please do not use LLMs as sources

Hi @Kencf0618! Please do not use LLMs as sources as you did at 2026 Minab school airstrike. LLMs are unreliable and known to hallucinate information. If you use an LLM for research, please check the sources it uses, and if those sources are reliable and you can verify the information in them, then you can cite those sources rather than the LLM itself. The relevant guideline is WP:RSML. Thank you and happy editing! 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk  contribs) 20:33, 2 March 2026 (UTC)

  • Special report: What actually happened during the Wikimedia security incident?
A horrifying exploit took place, which could have had catastrophic and far-reaching consequences if used maliciously; instead, it seems to have happened by accident and was used for childish vandalism. How did this happen, and what did the script actually do?
