Updates and Ideas

It has been a short while since I have touched bases with you. I have come to the point in editing where I have realized that I am not as prolific as I used to be, so I have been taking my time focusing on a few articles to move towards FA status. The Richards article is coming along well, if slowly, with a lot of new information and old being reorganized into a better timeline. I started my own research on Bela Kiss and will probably try my hand at it in the distant future. You have done well, as usual, with your recent work on Howard Unruh. I had a couple of ideas for potential subjects to read about or work on, considering how they are fascinating subjects but I will divulge in that another time. Always curious about your future and current endeavors into the dark recesses of humanity and the treasure trove of information that emerges from it. Paleface Jack (talk) 17:03, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

Nice to hear from you, Paleface Jack. Potentially be happy to help move an article or two you are hoping to submit for FA (or GA) status, if you wish (I don't have much info. on Stephen Richards though). You did send me a list in around October last year with several cases you wanted me to look at and I think Bela Kiss was on that list.

Aye I've largely completed the Unruh article. I do intend to look further into this case as and when newspaperarchive.com becomes available to access again. As for endeavors, I haven't really thought too much about a new project - I have only just about completed the Unruh article pending being able to access NewspaperArchive again. Who knows? Regards, --Kieronoldham (talk) 23:14, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

@Kieronoldham: Yeah, Bela Kiss was one of them. I have learned that providing potential sources to articles for users to add later can help others who are interested in them to seek them out. I did create a separate userspace for Kiss to work on uninterrupted whenever you or I got around to it. Did find some articles on Newspapers.com on Kiss that were interesting, though it is difficult to dive into the topic since my focus has been on other things.
I appreciate your willingness to assist, I have many project ambitions but brain power has been lacking (might have to steal another one as a replacement again). In other news, I gradually have purchased a lot of true crime/serial killer books on Joseph Vacher, the Copelands, H. H. Holmes, Diane Downs, Ed Gein, Bloody Benders, and those on some old west and film-related books. Most of these are for my own literary pleasure, though others might be utilized in the future. If you are really looking for news sources, Newspapers.com is invaluable if you do not use it already. If you ever need assistance, you know where to contact me.
