Carnival Brain moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Carnival Brain. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Est. 2021 (talk · contribs) 11:13, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

It is not clear what the advertising character is? I described the group and their music. I referred to various news sites and official sources. Kodru (talk) 11:17, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
I think this is not promotional at all, today Moldova cancelled its participation in European Song Contest 2025, but Carnival Brain's submission has an absolute majority support to represent Moldova in Eurovision World (WP:ESC/S reliable source since 2015), representatives of Moldova in European Song Contest 2010 and 2017 had their own articles. Thank you for creating the article, you can continue to establish the notability of the article further, and refer to my comment in front of other editors. Kenneth Kho (talk) 18:29, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
@Kenneth Kho: If you think this is not promotional at all, you're wrong, and if you think that refer[ring] to [your] comment in front of other editors would change that fact, you're wrong again. Please, avoid such takes, Wikipedia requires competence. Kodru was smart enough to understand there was in fact a lot of promotional content (eg. with its unique blend of electronic sounds and live violin // commands a significant presence within the electronic dance music realm), and they hence started removing them after my advice. This diff clearly demonstates that. Nothing more, nothing less. Est. 2021 (talk · contribs) 09:06, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
Yes, I reread the text and removed such expressions, leaving neutral data. Now the article clearly meets the criteria and without pompous phrases. For two days now, various publications in Europe have been writing a lot about the group and Bacho. This already shows their media presence and importance in Eurovision. Perhaps Moldova will change its decision and they will go to the contest. Kodru (talk) 09:17, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
There was not "a lot" of promotional content for me, but I do agree with vetting it. Kenneth Kho (talk) 09:33, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
What else needs to be done for you to approve the article? Kodru (talk) 12:19, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
Thanks! Yes, There was a lot of news in Europe about the song and the band, they were the favorites. Kodru (talk) 18:33, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
Now that Eurovoix reported them having secured sponsorship for Moldova in Eurovision Song Contest 2025, I think if accepted it essentially secured their spot in 2025. Kenneth Kho (talk) 23:29, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
Estonian and Moldovan news sites write about them, they are currently being selected for Eurovision. Radio 4 is the state radio of Estonia, Limon is an independent major news agency. Kodru (talk) 11:21, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
They are written about more in Russian and Romanian. You can translate all the articles I linked to via Google. The text is written without any advertising or PR, and in fact, there are links to everything. Kodru (talk) 11:26, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
There is a point in the criteria - "Has been placed in rotation nationally by a major radio or music television network." This is a link and link to Estonian state radio, where the band was a guest and their tracks were played on the radio. Kodru (talk) 11:44, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
added fresh news from Estonian and Moldovan major information portals and TV Kodru (talk) 13:28, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Carnival Brain (January 24)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Flat Out was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Fails WP:NMUSIC. Refbombing needs to be addressed 3-4 god quality sources per claim is better than 10
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
