Pinging users doesnt work if you edit an existing comment

saw your edit here

if you add the @ when you make a new comment, that creates a ping
if you add it when you edit an existing comment, i don't think that creates a ping. User:Bluethricecreamman (Talk·Contribs) 21:26, 20 December 2025 (UTC)

@Bluethricecreamman thanks for the tip. I actually find it quite annoying when the user doesn’t automatically appear while the user has already been active in the talk/case page. I’m going to edit it again to make sure it works. Lf8u2 (talk) 22:30, 20 December 2025 (UTC)

Undoing a redirect

I only just saw your comment on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2027 Men's Rugby World Cup Pool B; to undo a redirect one simply needs to go to the page for the redirect (when you get redirected click on the hyperlink saying 'redirected from page' and it will take you to the redirect page itself) click view history, select the older revision publish it and you've undone the redirect restoring the article.

The page history remains so when the time is right it can be instantly restored. This differs from deletion where the page history is unavailable. Traumnovelle (talk) 06:14, 5 January 2026 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Holocaust Industry, links pointing to the disambiguation pages were Reparation and Salonadded.

Question

Hello, regarding your recent comment at Talk:Abu_Safiya, do you know what the two Arabic language sources are that were cited in Alaexis' edit? You mentioned they are "a Hamas website" and "a Fatah website associated with Mohammed Dahlan." Can you tell me anything more about them, such as their name, or are they primary sources, etc? Thank you, IOHANNVSVERVS (talk) 22:21, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
